My only nitpick is that the dropped mag still visibly shows bullets inside. Still, to quote one Jay, "I think I just filled the cup."Sgt. Shivers wrote:

Well, only the full size Uzi fires from open-bolt only. Micro and Mini variants can apparently fire from both open and closed. Gun nerding.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The bullets in the mag when it's taken out could happen when there is still bullets inside I guess. I have never seen it in a mod, and would like to.
No Bullets:
*Drop mag and put new one in*
Bullets:
*Take mag out for later use and put new one in*

I've done that before, but the code was mostly a hackjob and if I were to do it again it'd be much betterCarbine Dioxide wrote:The bullets in the mag when it's taken out could happen when there is still bullets inside I guess. I have never seen it in a mod, and would like to.

looks like waving it's arm for groove, not wiggling around and threatening it's enemy. but yeah, i can understand about that movement, though.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
yeah the arms could maybe just wiggle a little instead of having such big movements.

Duke 3D doesn't have a "tilted recoil" like this, not at all.osjclatchford wrote:fixed up the odd grey pixels and did a duke3d style tilted recoil anim and muzzle flashes...

As you can see, the perspective is maintained and it mostly (if not only) rotates on the y-axis in 3D space. This looks as if it's rotated on all three axis.

yeah but thats kinda what I meant.
its not possible for me to manage that kind of image when I'm basing the sprite on work that does not share that perspective...
i'm not that skilled...

Given the source there really isn't much you can do to aside from drawing a new sprite, but with the right tools you can break the first sprite down and make it into a new shape.osjclatchford wrote:yeah but thats kinda what I meant.![]()

This image clearly has problems, but if it's only displayed for a few ticks you'll only notice the general shape of it.
This was done by splitting the first sprite into different parts: The back, the side, the top, and the rounded corner of the barrel. These were then adjusted with the Perspective tool, shifting the left side of each part (except the back) up. Next, to make it larger, I scaled it up 2x using the XBR 2x or HQ 2x filter in
