Yes, I think so that the mage towers level has been added in Gold. Though I'm pretty sure the opera house mission is in Thief 2. But yeah, I love that level too :P

No, I just checked. I'm thinking of "Song of the Caverns". You go through some caves near the start but end up in a big opera house. It's definitely a Thief Gold mission.

Plus there's no guarantee it would even work, after they already have your money.

@Enjay: Silly me. For some reason I felt the "newness" about that mission that I thought it would be a thief 2 mission.

I've been slightly more productive in the recent days than average, although I usually just begin on something new and then lose interest soon afterwards. My latest attempts have been with 2D graphics in Java. It's SLOWWWW :(
But playing Thief actually makes me want to work on ZThief again. :P

"Life of the Party" in Thief II will take about 3 hours to complete (it takes me about 2 hours but then I've played those games too many times :D). Of course, some custom levels can take much, much longer.

I've been practicing writing with my left hand lately. When I go really slow, I can get my left-handed alphabet to look marginally better than right-handed.

Oh, whew.

Anywho, I recovered a handful of files from my nuked external drive. Turns out my wife had actually re-backed-up a lot of stuff, so her book is safe, and I sorted through about 800 recovered JPGs to find the worthwhile ones, whittled it down to about 200. I'd already come to terms with losing most of it, so I just sighed and wiped the drive, then copied those recovered files back, plus a few others (like my Minecraft saves), and unplugged everything except my new WD Caviar Blue. Just finished installing Windows this morning, gonna spend the next couple days tweaking it back to my liking before I get all my programs going again.

8-)

How can women give a neutral answer, yet still make me feel like it's an angry NO?
So apparently she'll let me know when she wants to meet. Yeah. Guess I finally got my absolute NO with that.
At least I can move on now.. :)

But damn.

Two weeks ago I ordered two CDs, and one of them FINALLY came in today. I have no idea where the other one is. I know I ordered it from a UK Amazon.com vendor, but I figured it would be here much sooner. Hell, the one that did come in was from HONG KONG after all, so unless something went wrong or it just varies quite a bit from country to country, I just haven't a clue where my CD is, but I hope it comes soon.

The most hysterical thing is that CD in question is...

Stood behind a black guy at walgreens trying to get the cashier to give him some cash off of his link card. He wanted to, I shit you not, "buy some rocks".
