Add PSXTC music to that and you have a good combo.PFL wrote:Great suggestion IMO: Aeod5 combined with this Armadosia http://www.armadosia.com/ and GZdoom. Currently on level nine(9) and feels kinda epic, so far.

God how I hated the damn Vixens in NeoDooM. Thank God that Daniel fixed it in the Gold edition. Made it much more playable.ZDG wrote:HELL NO.PFL wrote: his tall 150000 Mega Vixen

@doomhunter: Couldn't agree more.
@SAAZA: Nah, go with CIF3 music. Much better.

How did you get that? Did you extract them yourself and made a wad file, or did you download it from somewhere? Because I LOVED the music in CIF 3! (Go metal music!)Major Cooke wrote:@SAAZA: Nah, go with CIF3 music. Much better.
Re: ÆoD v5 RELEASED!! (new optional pack: random music)
Well, I tried the Gold edition. The reduced health of the Vixens made them die too fast; they burnt in their flames !!! after a shot or two of their nuclear blast. How can this be fun? To be honnest, I found much more difficult challenge with some Aeod bosses. Anyway. Sure that the Ultra tall Vixen near the end was too much, but the usual one was a model for fear and respect. Since Aeod is kinda Doom all-in-one celebration, I thought, why not...
Tastes are our own; like dooming with NO music.

I copy/pasted the music from CIF3's main wad package to my own music collection.pk3, then bound a key to "changemus name"
@PFL That's the thing... Nuclear blasts are SUPPOSED to kill with one/two shots. Why else would they be in there otherwise?

While I never played the Gold Edition of Neodoom, I think he was saying that they injured themselves with their own attack.
That would be like the Cyberdemon killing itself with Splash damage from it's rockets.
I.e. A bug.
But I do agree that a nuclear blast should kill damn near anything in one or two shots.
I mean, it does generate temperatures hot enough to make the sun look like a lit match.
(I believe they're hot enough to actually vaporize solar material, what the sun is made from)

Creatures from hell don't care much about human's physics ... and exactly, kind of a bug. I like your analysis/comparison

And that's why each time I see a hellspawn, I say, "Welcome to earth, motherfuckers!", and deliver them a strogg version of the Gears of War 2 chainsaw bayonet practice RIGHT up the jackse!

Ah. Yeah. I don't usually chainsaw my enemies from below.
I just shoot them, or sometimes, I kill them with fire. (Long burning death animation is long)
And hey, who needs Physics anyway?

I replaced the fire death in my version with gibbing. Much more hilarious.

If I knew how to avoid friendly fire, I'd do a Summonfriend Phoenix and watch the fun.
Let's face it, it's would be like having a nuke.
Sadly, just like Sumonfriend Cyberdemon, friendly fire hurts.
At least, I think Summonfriend won't stop a friendly rocket from hurting you.
I need to play this mod again, I've been playing Dragon Age.

I've still been playing this mod ever since it came out, almost on a day by day basis... except with murderous clown, beheaded rabbits, floating firey heads, possessed balloons, jumping skulls, rocket-launching skull-shaped probes, etc etc...

Oh, so you got this to work with Happy Time Circus 2? Cool.
