Oh wow, thanks.
I'm honestly surprised that this ended up happening. I mean, I kinda saw it coming, but still... whew. I'm glad to be finally recognized for something I've put actual effort and care into. Hopefully with this I can finally leave behind the cheap memes.

I've been doing some playing around with this. Not sure if this has been mentioned or not; if so, apologies in advance.
The Wallbuster shell load menu is, well... either slightly wrong, or assumes hardcoded bindings that aren't accounting for user changes. It says Page Up is to add five ammo, Page Down to remove it. But Page Up is actually removing five ammo, and Page Down is adding five.
Not sure if that's just a basic goof, or if I tweaked some control or something that made it flip it - all the other keys seem to function as described.
Using latest build as of last night, and of course, GZDoom 4.5.0.
Also once had it crash on me once while doing the kiss a few times in a row for some reason (thank you for that wonderful crash handler, by the way - it topped ABORT); but that seems to have been some one-off as I haven't been able to reproduce it.

Even if you can't reproduce it, a screenshot of the crash is still useful, you know.
Addressed this. I don't know how I didn't notice.Dark Pulse wrote:It says Page Up is to add five ammo, Page Down to remove it. But Page Up is actually removing five ammo, and Page Down is adding five.

Alright, also addressed. It's weird that somehow that function can be called without a valid Owner pointer.

One more issue then: In Heretic, picking up keys says you've picked up (for example) T_YELLOWKEY.
Very impressed with your multifaceted Doom/Heretic/Hexen support though! Totally new ways to play those games is always my jam, and a LOT of mods don't even bother to try supporting Heretic or Hexen.
Does that support include stuff like Final Doom's episodes and Hexen Deathkings? Also got me wondering if the story for Heretic changes after you kill D'Sparil, since Serpent Riders E4/E5 technically take place after you've killed him.

Fixed, tags were inverted.Dark Pulse wrote:One more issue then: In Heretic, picking up keys says you've picked up (for example) T_YELLOWKEY.
As canonically the Demolitionist is not involved in those missions, there is no story text for them. I don't get what you mean about the story changing, it's just the same exact progression as vanilla.Dark Pulse wrote:Does that support include stuff like Final Doom's episodes and Hexen Deathkings? Well, the lore mentions that your target is D'Sparil. Which, of course, is correct for Heretic. The "Shadow Riders" version of it, though, added an Episode 4 and 5 that comes after you kill D'Sparil in Episode 3. It would've been bad if her mission was still "Kill D'Sparil" when D'Sparil's been, y'know, done kill't.Marisa Kirisame wrote:As canonically the Demolitionist is not involved in those missions, there is no story text for them. That said, I did stop being lazy and checked if you did change it for E4/E5, and yes, you did, so nevermind any of that.
(Actually, you change it every episode. Very nice.

The mission updates each episode/cluster, yes. It's a recent change (which required even more writing, whew).

Re: [0.9.10b] SWWM GZ: Cute robutt whomst love to explode de
Hello, I'm the strange dragon mentioned briefly in the mod's credits.
Yesterday, I decided to take up the arduous task of composing a original title, intermission screen, and credits music for the mod.
I know Marisa is using tracks she likes from the demoscene composer Teque, I just feel really bad for not contributing much of anything so I'm trying to make up for that.
So far, only the credits music has been finished: (it was the first thing that came to mind that seemed easy to come up with)
I'll hopefully have everything I wanted to make done in time for a future update...
Though, given my severe depression problems I might end up falling short... Hopefully it doesn't come down to that though.

So you compose music, or now for SWWM? Very good to hear!! And this one feels certainly like Unreal. Can't wait to hear more music from you-
Anyways my part is done: I recently drew another fan art for the mod because it got awarded for Cacoward 2020 and whatnot. Hope you like this one, Marisa!

Yes, when chronic depression isn't ruining my day composing music in IT.EXE is one of what little skills I have. This isn't the first time I've made music for Marisa. I'm responsible for the music in the "War Den" secret map in Spooktober.
I am not surprised you think this feels like Unreal. A lot of samples I use are routinely pulled from Unreal and UT99, sometimes Crusader: No Remorse/Regret as well. Though granted, these samples stretch back many years and many different tracker artists. I do also legally own (purchased many years ago) the no.1 instruments sample CD by MAZ-Sound Tools before he went out of business. It's a sample CD that quite a few tracker artists have used.
This is new territory for me, I don't typically make things in this style completely from scratch. The music I made for "War Den" is more familiar territory for me. But, I'm not going to let that stop me from making suitable music for SWWM GZ.
