Well, I personally feel myself a little embarrassed at posting so many stack trace crash reports because I don't know if they really help the developer in finding the reason of crashes.

Unfortunately most of them aren't. They either don't have any usable info or don't make any sense (like the last one, again it's saying the crash happens when popping up the right click menu even though you say you aren't right clicking). I'm thinking it's some kind of system problem. What OS are you using?cocka wrote:Well, I personally feel myself a little embarrassed at posting so many stack trace crash reports because I don't know if they really help the developer in finding the reason of crashes.

I would say: I haven't said I'm right clicking SO FAR. All of these (except those happening at the program startup) happened when I tried to right click on items in texture editor. Right clicking is easier for me because I don't want to bother about searching the menu on the top.the crash happens when popping up the right click menu even though you say you aren't right clicking
Otherwise: Win XP sp3

In that case, it may be fixed in beta 2. I have no idea why you're getting the crashes on startup with beta 2, though.

I don't think your problem has anything to do with SLADE at all, it's probably best to post it as a separate thread in this forum.Hareton wrote:I'm not a jerk but a victim of broken informatic systems.wildweasel wrote:Little tip for you: you might actually get useful help if you aren't being a complete and utter jerk about it.Hareton wrote:WHY THIS SHIT DOESN'T WORK WHEN EDITING SOUNDS? I just installed the latest development build (115-gfaeaabb*) and I've run into something: SLADE is displaying the transparent background color of graphics, which is something it normally doesn't do.
Is it a bug or a new toggleable feature I don't know about?
* From the 'About' box, the revision reads: 111-g1c4d302, though.

I'm not sure what could have changed that. I suspected the recent change in depth buffer size because at least this affected the OpenGL canvas, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

Should be fixed in the latest commit, was a fix for SFML 2.1 compatibility that wasn't needed for 2.0. For my own builds I've stopped using SFML for the opengl stuff at all, since 2.1 has broken wxwidgets integration and I can't figure out how to fix it.

This happens if I forget to force recompilation of MainApp.cpp.Blue Shadow wrote:* From the 'About' box, the revision reads: 111-g1c4d302, though.
I'm uploading 120 now, after verifying the transparency issue was indeed fixed.

Yes, 120 seems to work fine. Thank you both.

When opening a text lump in its own window (i.e., double-clicking on the lump), I get this empty space above the text editor window and below the "Save", "Revert", etc buttons as seen here. I'd prefer it if the text editor window was to extend and cover this space, for instance this is how it looks in 3.1.0 Beta 1. You have more of the window visible, which is good.
This is with the latest development build (120-ga9892d7).

Currently bugs found;
1; Changing Sprite Offsets sometimes put white background on it. After that, it crash.
2; Saving an file always crash (For me).
3; Flipping a Sprite makes it crash.
4; FLAC Sound compatibility sound had lost.
5; The paletee is completely incorrect, i change it for a minute, it shows some random colors and after that it crash.
6; Copy+Paste an Item makes the "Save" button unable.
That's all for now.
