holy fuck the clone painting in blender's texture paint mode does not fucking work anymore and all it took for them to fuck this up is a .1 increment in version numbers. been googling for an hour, NOTHING useful is coming up and youtube is all filled with 1 hour videos that probably don't even apply anymore because apparently they REALLY changed everything about texture painting in blender

i am just raging so hard right now

anyone who uses blender 2.72 who happens to read this please tell me how do i get back the clone painting functionality back T_T

Constantly mutating UI/API with crap documentation, A+++ 5 stars 11/10 doctor approved would download again.

(Still using 2.68 because nothing has convinced me that "upgrading" would be a good idea at all. Docs are available at least.)

Since the 21st of October I use a mouse whose brand is mysteriously exclusive to a store in Sweden, and it's based off of the SteelSeries Kana.



This is the first mouse I've used with CPI & side buttons, and I'm pleased, but I tried one of those big shapely mouses and from what I recall it fit my hand better. In later years, I'd like to purchase something like or the actual Mad Catz mice.

i settled for CM Storm's brand of mice products after being recommended by a friend of their Xornet mice, which is a pretty simple mouse with side-buttons and 3 DPI modes. works pretty well, though the first one i had defected and ended up with a non-functional side-button after some time, but i got a replacement and it's served me well for... some months or so now? i also use their medium pad because the mouse didn't really like what i used before.

yeah, if you have big hands or clumsy fingers it's not recommended to get at all, haha. luckily it fits my hand pretty well.
oh yeah, i should mention that it's right-hand ergonomic, so lefties can unfortunately not purchase it.

Actually come to think of it, I think I'll do an ultra fast video tutorial on texture painting and cloning for Blender 2.72, I'm going to do it leilei style and blaze through it so fast that the dislike bar will go over 9000

so all of my neighbors think i died, and for the past couple of days have been visiting my home to tell my mom and sister how sorry they are, only to be shocked when i suddenly appear
