To open doors, you have to decapitate them and kick their heads around until you find a slot to kick 'em in, which opens the doors.

But then you realized that was incredibly frustrating and just made 'em drop keys. :P

The train of thought that led to me making these enemies in the first place then got me thinking: surely some of the zombified scientists would still have their keycards on them? So here they are. The translations are purely for gameplay purposes, although I had to make them green for convenience's sake. I'll probably end up giving them unique heads at least.

But, seriously, the only time I've seen this sort of mechanic is in CIF3. I'm surprised it never caught on.

Thanks, that seems to look right. I'm going to work with power of 2 sizes instead of trying to fight against the system to match real-life measurements and with your data given, a sector that is 256 tall does feel like an average single storey-home, which is fine.

Ah. I'm glad you asked that. Adding A_ChangeFlag ("DROPPED", 0) to the keys' Spawn state prevents them from being destroyed by moving sectors. I've modified the LOCKDEFS lump accordingly.

As for multiplayer, I've no real way of testing it. The mod is SP only, so it's not really an issue in that sense.
