Personally, I wouldn't like that too much considering I sometimes play doom mouseless with the arrow keys to move my aim. And I hate when recoil just tends to screw up my camera, forcing me to reset it just to get a good shot.

But other than that: The Shotgun single-fire is a bit wonky, I swear with the altfire I can kill those crawling plants with no effort but when using single shots I swear it takes more hits than usual. And I was hitting it when it was "vulnerable", mind you.

Anyways: I'm really liking this thing so far, I actually like it better than the first one. :D

No recoil please, aside from the sprite offsets and animation. The last thing I want is for me to be pushed back off a platform by my own shotgun.

I have this graphic here you could use for the cursor, made from the Mario Paint cursor colored like the Doom gloves.

Guys, I mean the type of recoil that is visual only; it moves your view up and back to the position you were before you fired by the time you stop firing. Zero gameplay changes.

I thought about that but i decided not to implement it because it would be way harder to shoot in mid air while dodging projectiles

It makes it more fun. It's simple, do I want my gun to feel like a water pistol or what it actually is?

It's just downright annoying having to readjust my aim every time. Plus this is a PLATFORMER with instant death pits. It's bound to screw someone over.
