I updated the WAD so now barrels hurt things when you throw them.

Default key for "Shoot" is J, not R

Also you can bind it from console:

bind t grabbarrel
bind r shootbarrel

Ling's KEYCONF wrote:addkeysection "Gravity Gun" grav

addmenukey "Pick Up / Put Down Barrel" grabbarrel
alias grabbarrel "puke 2"
defaultbind E grabbarrel

addmenukey "Shoot Barrel" shootbarrel
alias shootbarrel "puke 10"
defaultbind J shootbarrel
So yeah, it would seem that J is the default for shooting. However, for me at least, J does nothing and R shoots the barrels. This is also reflected in the key configuration menu - ie R is listed against Shoot Barrel"

Strange.

This thing kicks ass. :D [/redundant]

Hey Ling, with your permission, I'd like to use this in a project I'm working on... Could you maybe PM me the scripts lump? I promise I'll credit you.

Hmm... those were ripped from STRAIN and converted to jpeg (ACK), and I don't think it'll fit the gun too well.

Yeah... re rip that and convert it to a GIF or PNG image. JPEG is the most evililest, awful, ugliest format in existence. That pic could probaly still be useful though. :P

Hey, that thing doesn't work! I get a script error in DECORATE line 24 "BAR1 A 0 ACS_Execute(20,0)".
Any suggestions?

2.0.63
Think i should try 2.0.63a?

Or it's only compatible with this 96 Strife version?

I think it's 96 only...

And it's not a 'Strife-Only' version. That link is slightly mislabeled.

But considering the bugs in doom, and possibly heretic/hexen, it may not be mislabled... ;)

Well, 63a is almost the same as 63, except that 63a has a particularly annoying bug fixed. So you should upgrade to that at least.

However, 96 is required for this WAD.

We couldn't have our Zdoom 63a demos run correctly on whatever version, no such trouble with 63 though. I have a lot of ZDoom on my hard drive - 63, 63a, 51, 94 - but most of these are not installed.
