Another two advantages that UDMF has over older formats are the non limited number of tags (Hexen and others can have only 255 tags/TIDs), and adding tags to a line is as easy as to an actor in this format.

I actually use "GZDoom: Doom (UDMF)", wich is the same as "Zdoom (Doom in UDMF Format)" but with more Open GL options.
