You silly folks, just open your zdoom.ini file with Notepad and search on chat. You'll soon see these entries:
chatmacro0=No
chatmacro9=Yes
chatmacro8=I'll take care of it.
chatmacro7=Come here!
chatmacro6=Next time, scumbag...
chatmacro5=You suck!
chatmacro4=Help!
chatmacro3=I'm not looking too good!
chatmacro2=I'm OK.
chatmacro1=I'm ready to kick butt!
Edit them as you see fit, then save the zdoom.ini file. Now, after you start up a game, first hit the T key (or whatever key you have assigned to messagemode), then hold the ALT key and choose chat macro number 0 through 9. The message will appear on the screen.

Sadly, you cannot disable chatmacros.
Even back when I played on Zdaemon there were no noobs who abused the chat and macros. Now, some of my friends would put funny quotes or words on them and blurt them out at random when we saw each other, but that was after playing for like a year and we didn't do it over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over...
*AHEM* Anywho, the only way things like this can be disabled is by disabling ingame chat entirely. There can be a dmflag made to block chatmacros, but it will only work on the chatmacro commands, and anyone could just rebind keys to say instead of chatmacro*.
Heh, I got Cube a few days ago. Fun game, but the multiplayer is full of noobs who thankfully do not repeat stupid shit, but won't learn how to change their name so it always stays at "unamned". And alot of them try to be Mr.Big and camp others with rockets, and they do the shittiest camping job ever. It's barely even funny...
But there are some good players though.
[EDIT]Damnit, how many people posted while I was typing?!?!
