The Manc!

OK, the file has been updated. Map06 should work correctly now, and every map should look the same as it did during the initial release.

For the menu thing: it's not a compat option (as far as I know), but a switch you can put in MAPINFO-GAMEINFO. Just add "swapmenu = true" to the gameinfo block and it's all fixed.

When loaded as an IWAD the switch should be automatic. But it should still be added to the WAD's MAPINFO.

I hope that means fixing the desynch between them and the speech. Text always goes by way too fast.
Yeah, this is precisely what I have been working on. I PM'ed Scuba about this a few weeks back and I offered to fix all of the subtitle timings in every cutscene... the last message I got from Scuba said that the 1.1 fix is still a few months away so I thought I'd take my time on it... :P

At any rate, now that this looks like it's going to be out soon, I'll finish it by this weekend.

No it won't be out soon. I just wanted to make the changes now and get it tested. I plan on rolling out the 1.1 update later when the expansion level is finished.

Nash, I'm putting the finishing touches on the new maps and they should be done soon. If you want to include the new stuff, you should have it finished soon.

By the way: do you have a hidden feature implemented by any chance that lets you quickly trigger any cutscene? I want to double check everything before I submit, but playing the game normally just to trigger the cutscene can be very time consuming, plus I might miss a cutscene...

eh, not really. i just ran around MDKing everything when i was testing stuff. theres some scripts in the final map to chose what path you took that could help though.
