Re: Doom skyboxes for GZDoom
Thanks for adding the other IWAD boxes!
Re: Doom skyboxes for GZDoom
Long ago I made some sky textures that can be used in conjunction with the original textures:

I'll keep pining for a Heretic E3 sky top.

Looks identical to what i have now, hmm..

I love these. They fit right into vanilla, so they've made their way into my autoload section.
I have a tiny request: could you make skyboxes for the Master Levels' skies? They are the only ones missing from the vanilla experience...
They contain four starry skies which should be easy to make, the only difference is the amount of stars in each sky and that one of them has a blue gradient on the bottom. This pic shows the four of them:

Love this, but the "ALL" one doesn't seem to work with Wadsmoosh. Some levels load the right skies, others don't. Is this something that's fixable?

I know I'm a lil late, but here, I just made a fix for it that should work. I also downsized it a considerable amount.DarkkOne wrote:Love this, but the "ALL" one doesn't seem to work with Wadsmoosh. Some levels load the right skies, others don't. Is this something that's fixable?

Re: Doom skyboxes for GZDoom
I've been using these skyboxes for years, but some things about them have been bugging me the whole time, so I made my own edit. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Myd_-k ... sp=sharing
In particular, I resized the 512x512 skybox textures down to 256x256 to match the others and get rid of the mixeling, made Doom 2's SKY3 more faithful to the original, and cleaned up TNT's SKY1 a bit.
I originally put this together from my existing download to reupload since the original link doesn't work; I wasn't aware PandaDoomer had posted their version. Guess that's what I get for not reading the whole thread!
Speaking of broken links, the images in the first post are gone too, so here are some screenshots to compare both versions:

Spoiler:Ezepov, if you ever read this, thanks for making your original ones!
