[WIP] The Empty Museum (For GZDoom)

Yes for the monsters.

Technically yes for the weapons, however they are not what you would expect. Infact, one could say this wad introduces a whole new concept for weapons in Doom...

Doesnt hurt to make your own weapons and monsters for this Museum, helps individualize the WAD, i usually go for WADs that have their own everything, like Stronghold, Strife, etc, instead of using the same weapons/monsters.

You should make a storyline to fit the WAD, youll make good hits that way.

Thanks for the support guys, definitely helps motivate knowing there are people that actually give a crap about this. It will have a story which will dive deep into pretty much all elements about this project (places, history, characters, reasons) along with voice acting. However, I can't reveal the actual plot.

Update: Sort of...

This project is not dead (even though nobody said it is). Some progress has been made from the last post, mostly stuff that isn't worth showing (scripting, tricks, etc). Perhaps the most significant change is the way it's being made. I'm currently designing the whole layout on paper, this was not done before. Another change is in the story (which seemed to get positive feedback).

As for actual progress; the weapons system is about 60% done. Story is about 80%. The concept art was recently started, so you can imagine that would be low. Layout on paper is about 20%, unfortunately...

As for the music, that is about 50% done. There is basically one person doing most of the music for this, but a couple of others submitted a song which really helped us out. If anybody is interested in doing music for this, drop me a PM. This would just be helping us out by speeding it up, it isn't going to kill the project if nobody helps.

Another part of the project that needs to be done is voice acting. Despite wanting to do it all myself, I know I can't do that. I have one person who is actually signed up for a specific character now. If anybody would be interested in voice acting for this, just drop me a PM. Like the music, it wouldn't kill the project if nobody signs up, but it would help. Also, it would be a bit of time before anyone would actually get started with it.

tl;dr version: Project is being worked on despite the lack of future updates. Looking for contributions for music and voice acting.
