bah, i seem to have reached an impass, i'm working on a coustum hud, RE style but i'm having some problems. anyone no of a wad that has a custom stat bar and inventory screen that i could look at some of the coding for?

i heard LWM's Hellspawn had one but i can't find the wad, or is it out yet?

any help would be great 8-)

You could also look at Barista and even Russell Pearson's Romero Death Skittles may give you some pointers. Both will be in the idgames database. Hang on...


Hmmm, can't find Barista in the idgames database, but you should still be able to get it via this thread.

However, the file is on Gamespy and the login in that thread no longer seems to work and the mirror gives me a 403. Anyone else got a download link for Barista?

bah, Barista Behavior.lmp won't decompile so can't look at the script :roll: heh, so back to square 1, lol

Yeah, I really wanted to see how that guy actually done the custom hud, but the damn thing won't decompile!

ok now that i have some freetime again i'm back working on this project.
as some of you no i have completed the custom hud and inventory.

next step is to create some new weapons in 3DS Max

then updated the allready completed maps with the latest Zdoom options

and finaly finish off episode 1 :wink:

a screeny for those interested.

That hires door looks familiar... *scratches chin* I wonder who made that... Looks like one of Tabun's works... (Tabun is the main content guy behind Generations Arena for Quake 3)
