Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!
Projects for any Doom-based engine (especially 3DGE) are perfectly acceptable here too.
Please read the full rules for more details.

Re: [REQUEST] Stronghold Torches wad
Let me elaborate: the imminent release of Stronghold, an important mod, influenced the removal decision. If something that's more or less dependent on something soon before (i.e. the news of Stronghold's immediate release) doesn't imply correlation, I don't know what does.
Re: [REQUEST] Stronghold Torches wad
Erm, where exactly are you getting this idea from? The author of said effects stated simply in this thread that he asked for their removal because they were submitted to R667 by someone else, against his wishes. Stronghold's release has nothing at all to do with anything about it, and the only way I can see someone getting said view is by grossly misinterpreting Keks's previous posts about the subject.

OK, Xaser, you win. Not because I am a sore loser, but because I finally get it, and I should be sorry for it. The sentence in the second quote is very relevant.KeksDose wrote:The credits thing is more or less a side thing which I sorta don't give a flying crap anymore about.
That now-discarded thing about credits* is what bugged me and I found a bit irrational (and will continue to post about if I see it happening again, no matter by who). But the rest of that post mentioned something about submission without consent, which is leaking, and generally sucks. Sorry 'Dose :>
*mind you, not as in "HEY you didn't give me any credit, you're stealing my work", rather as in "hey you're somehow misusing my work that I already tagged as mapping resource for everybody, forget it was here, remove it" (except that in this case it wasn't uploaded by him, but leaked by others, so yeah)
