I'll be honest: Only one thing bugs me more than seeing Brutal Doom always championed as the "one mod to rule them all", and that's seeing people complain about how Brutal Doom is so overhyped. Seriously, if it's paraded around and praised so highly by swarms of people, maybe it actually did something that those people like? Just let it die already.

Oh and speaking of UT mods, when I debuted Guns.u someone gave me a glorious idea. What if instead of bursting into guns, players exploded into tiny little guys that ran around screaming until they exploded? I don't have much to show of the results, but I have three words: "RIP headphone users"

Anyone have Watch_Dogs for the PC? Any good? Or is it yet another over-hyped watered-down console port? Gameplay-wise and visually? I mean if it's going to be bad, I might as well save my money for the PC version of GTA 5 which has been officially announced. Cuz... you know... why buy a GTA clone when you can get the real thing?

personally, i would prefer ReDoom being in place of Beautiful Doom (because it feels visually and aurally more true to Doom, while BD takes a bit of liberties with its changes), but BD is under active development, i believe, and has larger exposure, so i guess it makes sense. i agree with the other gameplay mods in that list, though, they're great fun.

edit: WHY DO THEY NOT DOCUMENT THAT WELL THE DIRECTION OF THE FANS POSITION AND HOW TO HINGE IN A SERIES OF METAL WIRES. ugh, that's the last hard part of this cooler installation, and they tell pretty much fuck-all about it other than a general "do this, then figure out how to do it." who MAKES these manuals?

It's this thing called browser shop and it just throws ads all over me.
I don't know how to explain it. but it's an adware.
