IMO her top half is spot-on (love the hair!), but her lower half leaves a bit to be desired. Her legs and hips seem ... off. If I may be so bold as to do a Blox:



A quick ten-minute re-sketch of how I see her in my own head. Still not perfect, but you get the general idea.

That's actually a very nice improvement! This is exactly the type of advice I'm looking for since I seem to have trouble seeing these things until someone else points them out. I also did this one last night, but the shading isn't quite what I'd like it to be yet. I'll come back to it eventually.

I post my progress on /vr/ almost exclusively, I guess I should give myself more of a presence here, especially since I would love to get sprite advice from scalliano and others whose work I really respect. I'm still pretty new at this.

Maybe you could make another sprite without the raven (bird) on her and maybe have her carry a sawed off shotgun. Of course the sprite with the raven is one of her spell casting animations maybe (think of the murder of crows from Bioshock Infinite).

Of course I wonder if you could make a hi rez Blood style sprite of her as well.

Also what about also making a sprite of Death from Sandman or a woman who looks like her (or maybe this could be a variation of the goth woman type)

nope, there's no chaingun from requester; S_andrew_S' progressing mod far i know. instead he has some energy weaponries from wolf2009 that i worked on, though.
