I'm tempted to make some kind of deathmatch/coop mod that gives point bonuses and multipliers for
- Shooting stuff while it's in the air
- Shooting stuff while you're in the air
- Killing multiple targets with one shot
- Killing anything with the fist or pistol
- Not having taken a single hit between spawning and making a given kill
- Killing anything while at single-digit health
- Killing someone while dead (e.g., with a projectile weapon)
- Killing a deathmatch opponent whose weapon grossly outdoes yours (fist versus bfg, chaingun versus ssg, etc.)
- Random crap like having more than 50 projectiles in the air at once, or killing while standing in lava, or being the last person to hit someone before they suicide...

A co-op mission set, similar to the Marathon Infinity map pack "Dark Rose". The concept: two players have to make their way through an installation, however many of the puzzles end up with the two players separated and require them to communicate with one another. One example: Player 2 is in a wide open room that turns out to be an unmarked teleporter maze. Player 1 happens to find a computer map on the wall bearing the solution to said maze. Player 1 must guide Player 2 through the maze.
Next to the computer, Player 1 has an insurmountable gap with lava/bottomless pit/insert instant death trap at the bottom. Player 2, at the end of his teleport maze, finds a series of switches that extend force bridges across the gap, but only one of them can be online at a time (the previous bridge disappears about two seconds after the next one appears), so the communication and timing between players should be near exact.
I imagine there could be further possibilities - a hall full of cyberdemons with Player 2 trying to find the real keycard among the various fakes while Player 1 has access to a gun turret of some kind that will kill the cyberdemons quickly.
