Yeah that's a bug, that's not supposed to happen, I guess just don't hit exit on the bike?

Quick question to Vostyok, RJ, or whoever in the Ashes dev team sees this first:

There are some sprite disparities in the weapons pack (rocket and mancubus fireball impacts using firebomb explosion sprites, and as of the most recent update, Imp fireballs pull on the sprites of Pitfiend acid spits). If I address these on my own by re-naming the sprites and their call-ups in DECORATE, am I allowed to post the sprite packs and DECORATE text files here? This will allow the users to fix their own files, and it'll be ready for implementation on the next hotfix.

Go for it. To be honest they should probably be either removed or renamed entirely. Monster pack(s) should come with their own projectiles, so no reason to keep the old stuff.

Hey Vos, if your fixing up 2063 I got a suggestion, now I don't know if this is intentional or not but in the wall you can't bring your out weapons, i.e the crowbar for example, and all those trash bags and boxes are taunting me, now I know this isn't a really serious issue, but it just bugs me that's all

You wanna smash some trash at the wall? Thats easy! While the dialoge-screen wich has Smiley in the background melts down after you exit map02, quickly tap one of your weapons keys (number 3 for example). That weapon gets selected and then you have to use your mouse wheel to scroll UP (scrolling DOWN wont work) until you select the crowbar. But if you keep scrolling up you will put the crowbar away and cant select anything else again.

Hope this tip helps you acquire a bunch of free junk while you're in there! 8-)

hi im new here, first post, i love ashes 2063 and afterglow, but i have a problem, i have recently began playing ashes afterglow, but i cant seem to pickup any money, i thought i had reached the maximum amount of scrap/money, so i spent some on mods for weapons, but still when i walk over the money, it doesnt pick it up, some folks on discord told me to press e to pickup money but im fairly certain that is not required in ashes...any ideas anyone ? im playing on apocalypse so its kind of important to be able to pickup money haha, cheers and thank you, sorry if im posting in the wrong (sub) forum.

ok its picking up the money now but its not being added to my total sum so i cant spend it

Okay, first of all, make sure you are picking up 'junk' which is money, and not armor scraps, which go instead to your armor total. This has a maximum, so you won't be able to pick up any more.

Secondly, when you load up the mod, are there any error messages?

you are completely right and im a complete idiot, the reason it wasn't picking up the "money" was because it was armor scrap and my armor was at 100 already

the reason the armor scraps didnt go to my money counter was because it was armor scraps

can you believe i un- and re- installed this game four times over this ?

unreal.

im so sorry and thanks again for making gaming fun again, i thought i was done with gaming until i heard about this, and its everything they told me and more, im going to force my brother to play it too, he'll love it.

to everyone in the zone out there, when in hell, keep walking.

Yo I've noticed A lot of things in afterglow, one is kinda lore related the rest are nitpicks/problems, first and maybe it's just me that didn't know this but I was talking to a loser and he mentioned that the Scav came from the south and asked if Florida was nice, did he actually come from Florida? and did anyone else know/notice this and I'm just stupid, and the rest, a little nitpick/spacetime continuum error is that if you talk to the dealer you can ask him if he knows where you can find bike parts, when you haven't even talked to Rigs about the bike, although I guess it would be common sense to just ask him even if Rigs hadn't told you, because I guess you would know it your bike was screwed but still, It seems out of place, at least in my eyes also you can ask he dealer where walker is, but the option to ask him that is that you keep giving him money to ask, even if you've paid it once, now he doesn't charge you twice, but the option is that you keep giving him money for the answer which seems quite odd, also also (yes I know this post is getting quite long, a bit long for even my tastes but it can't be helped) you can ask the dealer for Walker's location, despite the fact that up to to that point, at least in my opinion, you should not even know that Walker exists, which normally you should question Violet about him blah blah blah, but you can ask the dealer about him like you've known the guy for years, this also pops out to me as quite strange also also also also, You can ask the Gun Shop guy about how to get to the flooded district, and he gives you completely wrong directions, he tells you that you can get there by taking the stairs behind the bar, which doesn't even go in the close direction of the flooded district entrance, so yeah quite strange as well, also ( last also I promise) when you ask Rufus about if Victor is his son, he's speech has some typos/words missing, he says " He doesn't see the world you and I do" when he should say he doesn't see the world Like you and I do, also (I know, I broke my promise) when Violet asks you to find Porcelain, one of the options you can ask her is about the other Scavengers in the dust storm and the wordings a bit weird it goes " Weren't most of the others Scavengers were lost in that dust storm?" the word "were" shouldn't be in that sentence, another thing that I've noticed is that the in the Chinese restaurant in the flooded district, only one of the sides of the delivery truck actually advertise the restaurant, the other side is a mail delivery service, shouldn't both sides be advertising the restaurant?, just another odd thing to add to the list, another weird thing is that if you ask Walker "Have we met before" the message "you seem to have enough!" pops up, this is strange because as far has i know only shops or people who have things to sell can give you that message, and I don't think Walker sells anything so this is pretty strange

Speaking of player character origins, episode 1 takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, right? Some highway signs on map 4 use 'centre' instead of 'center', worth correcting if this is the case. In addition to that:

I'm guessing all the water was a nice serene shade of blue before the enriched edition, and were missed when the water was made dirty? The underwater hallway in the secret mall map is also blue, probably some other areas as well.

Yep, that's a legacy thing. Water used to be blue in the non-Enriched 1.15 version, before it was changed to be kinda sludgy and infested with algae.

Personally I prefer blue water. Seeing muddy water all the time gets a bit old and the blue really popped against the constant orange and brown of the desertic wasteland.
