I'm having some problems downloading the zip file. I tried all the mirrors and I keep getting an imcomplete file. Not only that, the file just keeps getting bigger. The first time i downloaded, it said it was 10.7 mbs. That didnt work, so the second time i retried it became 15.2 mbs. That didnt work either. The first time it was 21.9 mbs. Again, that didnt work. Just how big is this file and where can i get a complete file? o.o

The complete file is 65 MB and it should be complete on all servers. The problem must be on your side.

I'd say your connection keeps getting cut off. Everytime you try to download it again, the part that has already been downloaded is still in the cache, so it can resume from there. That's why it's slowly growing.

So, if you can't download it completely in one sitting, make sure your browser's cache is as big as possible and keep trying. At about 5 meg increase by attempt, you're just nine more shorts! :?

In the worst case use a download manager.

Just not Download Accelerator Plus.(Downloaded a 500+MB file on that and as soon as the download finished the file corrupted :? )

With the latest GZDoom, I got an error running tutnt.
It was easily fixed, I just had to change something to look for def_clas instead of def_class (or something similar).
I'm just wondering, do I have an older version or something? I downloaded it off /idgames.

If it was converted from a PK3 to a WAD, the error can have crept up because lump names are 8-characters max while the limit on file name won't reasonably be met.

If anyone is in a position where re-downloading the whole project is problematic for some reason, the fix requires the following:

You need to edit the DECORATE lump in TNTRES.WAD, which can be found inside the PK3.

The line:

#include "DEC_CLASS"

needs to be changed to

#include "DEC_CLAS"

I was wondering why it was a pk3 full of wads.
Anyways, thanks for the info. I didn't want to have to download it again unless I really had to.

Just played through a few levels real fast (my computer is a bit old so it lags pretty bad), and I must say, most impressive. :D Looks realy nice and plays pretty well too. I did find a small bug though, not sure if someone mentioned this before. The Napalm Cannon fires even when there is less than the ammo required per shot without shooting anything. I think it uses 96 ammo per shot? It still goes through the firing frames when you have less amoo than that. Once again, your maps have inspired me to map for DE. :)

Open an editor and open TNTRES.wad. Now, go to DEC_Gore and make a line before all the Stop's that says:

Code: Select all

<Insert Sprite name> A -1
WARNING: I believe this can slow down your framerate pretty quickly, so I advise you not to do it.
