Hey there!
I am using SmoothDoom to play through the wad Unloved, and I came across a bug that I'm trying to solve on my own, but need some help. On Map3 there's this place where you pick up the yellow key and a scripted event is triggered, like, the enemies are raised from dead.
With SmoothDoom this is what happens:
1- The enemies are alive when I get to that area, and respawn when I pick up the yellow key. (No big problem here, but would still be cool if the script could work the way it was intended).
2- The yellow key is not recognized by the yellow lock.
If I do "give yellowcard" in the console it works, it just doesn't work with the "smoothyellowcard" actor from the mod.
Any guess as to why this happens, and how I can solve it in decorate?

unloved has sprites of weapons and maybe other things from original doom maybe it uses just yellow key for doors not smooth
EDIT:i had problem with weapons because they were standart(not "beatiful") so i deleted decorate and keyconf in unlovedstuff(using slumped)0))000)))(909090() maybe it will work for keys too

Could you make black gloves not latex?
It is because they are ugly compared to normal gloves.

Really want blood at chainsaw when cut monsters. And monsters was sawed into pieces. Can you made it?

yeah, unloved uses special scripts for the keycards that the smooth actors on smooth doom can't activate on their own. you'd have to either A)dissect the code for all six keycards in smoothdoom.pk3 and do away with them, orrrrrr... go in dry and load up smooth doom weapons only, as none of the keys are replaced there.Vdude wrote:Hey there!

Black gloves just perfect. Play with them. I think they looks better than original brown gloves).

Judging by its latest trailer, Doom 64: Retribution now includes custom weapon animations for the D64 Plasma Rifle.
According to Nevander, they were made by someone called Cage. Do you intend to include them in Smooth Doom?

Any update on the smooth waterfall texture? I took a look at TNT's one, and it appears to be a bunch of textures in one (Which might make it hard as hell to edit).

I don't know if anyone else has talked about this, but the Fist, Chainsaw and Rocket Launcher are missing from the alternative HUD.

Indeed there a problems with keys in (G)ZDoom-wads.
Also, what about the idea of machinegun's skin from the 0.5 Alpha version of the Doom?
