Wow, that's depressing. I hope they get these sorted soon. It's still worth picking up, though, because it looks like it's still available on Steam. From everything I've seen and heard, the game works perfectly fine, it was just an overhauled renderer and some other enhancements in the new patch.

So... derp I guess? Apparently they had a patch in progress.
Er... as far as I can see, that's about the iOS version and the iOS version only. So the PC version is still for sale and is likely still going to get the patch or whatever.

It was also removed from the developers' Beambog service (Atari published it on Steam) so the issue still stands.

I already bought it (for $5 wheee) but I read the articles after the fact which

A) made me feel bad because I guess my five bucks isn't going to Beamdog
B) I won't see that patch they were talking about
C) No BG2: EE?

It still might happen; it's on hold until these contract disputes are solved. The question is whether or not these contract disputes are solved. Oster seemed a bit depressed in the interview, judging from how he phrased some things, but as he said, they like making games but don't like dealing with the legal crap of making the games so that could be the source of the depression. This could blow over and be solved in a few weeks, for all we know.

Played my first game of 40k in ages at local GW today, I lost (as usual, devastated quite a chunk of his army, however he had the objectives at game end, bah) but there were several trolltastic moments.

Oh yeah and I used mindshackle scarabs (little robot beetles that burrow into your mind and control your actions) to make Pedro Kantor (a much-celebrated space marine commander) kill himself with his powerfist. That must have been one mighty facepalm. :laff:

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition has been released yesterday on PC.

I got it, tried it, and it's a damn blast. Having played the demo version on PS3, I can easily say the PC version is superior in the technical department; as far as controls and gameplay go, it's the same as the console counterparts: smooth and satisfying.

Also, overly exaggerated violent massacres and fatalities. I can't help but laugh when special moves are executed due to their sheer amount of violence.

Hah! Nice! I've been watching a ton of matches from MiniWarGaming on Youtube and those Mindshackle Scarabs look annoying as hell to deal with. :P

i've noticed that i'm half-decent at doing arrangements of pre-existing MIDIs than doing my own arrangements of them. proof:

E1M2, inversed. basically the song's upward and downward motion has shifted in place. this one was an interesting song, but it needed some adjustments to work right.
the original inversed E1M2 file, with the tempo not being fixed.
Samba de Combo, from Mother 3.this song is so fucking good that i couldn't NOT fix it up.
the original Samba de Combo MIDI, with fixed tempo (it was running at 20 BPM faster while every other instrument almost being entirely like they should be wtf).

EDIT: nevermind these links for now, FL Studio done fucked up when exporting them, and it's too late over here right now for me to fix it.
EDIT 2: well i got the MIDI to export properly now, but i don't seem to know how exactly to fade a song out in MIDI. is there a special command for this?

ta-da. i just finished title for my version of the dukewooze's mod.

this mod is bit related with 60~70's because of primeval arsenals which as m60 and aerosol flamethrower, bundle of TNT. so i decided to make 'em like a redneck rampage theme.

simple character design, eh? i just think faster to make him. bit shitty. :P

Nice work. Could easily listen to that with no problems for a level or two. I quite like some of your other tracks too.

Found the folder where I put some sprite sets I made, porting some of my favourite Paper Mario enemies to Super Mario World.

i've gotten some more footage recorded of gameplay. i even have one up on Youtube, but it's unlisted, because it's more of a test than anything else. i'm getting a step in the right direction though, i think.
