Side Magazine-loaded Shotgun? Never seen this before. Good concept, except that magazine on the cocking frame kinda lost its shape!edgymemester wrote:Just... Another edit.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Maybe it's because of the tiredness or lack of experience, this was meant to be a dart gun which didn't go as good as i wanted, but it reminds me of marathon .

I don't think i have seen the side-loaded pump action shotgun except the assault gun, tho!ThrashfanBert1994 wrote:Sounds like strife to me

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The perspective of the cylinder looks a little off, almost as if it is bending upwards slightly. The shading/metallics look absolutely gorgeous though

The shading's naturally amazing, it's a DoomNukem gun probably the most challenging thing to edit when modifying his sprites.Vostyok wrote:The perspective of the cylinder looks a little off, almost as if it is bending upwards slightly. The shading/metallics look absolutely gorgeous though
But thanks for the feedback, the bending up look is because of the inconsistent shading most likely, but I see it bending down, really weird. I'll see about getting that fixed.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Watched Zeiram a few days ago so this has been my project.
Not pleased with the busy reflections, I need to make it darker and more matte, I need some elements to be larger so I don't have to keep redrawing them, and maybe higher FOV. Also need to finish the model. It looks done from this angle, but recoils and reloads will look weird. I could figure out how to do the iron sights either, might as well do my own thing there.

Because you edit really fancy? Neat work.
Gud to see you again, torrid! Also that is one Cyberpunky Revolver! And i'm sure the reloading sprite will be looking fine.torridgristle wrote:Watched Zeiram a few days ago so this has been my project.

Trying to figure out why I feel like the barrel's a tad bit bent downward...TiberiumSoul wrote:why do i keep making these edits?

Also, I wanted to bring this up again:
The chunkiness of the pistol actually reminds me of the NI-408 tazer pistol from the most recent Robocop movie... maybe smooth out its rough edges slightly, and color it gray, and I think you'll have something closely resembling the N1-408...YukiHerz wrote:

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Edited some more. Hope the bend is gone, but it still needs work.
Maybe I should go to the requests and try getting some help?
That said, how will its reload animation work? You ever seen these things get reloaded? It takes up to a minute!

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Yeah, it would work with a loading gate ( that depression you can see in the cylinder). You had one in Fallout Vegas and yeah it wasnt exactly quick. Looks really good though.
Edit: Clint Eastwood don't have time for reloading his big ol' navy. Problem solved
Edit edit: disregard that, in Pale Rider he used pre-loaded cylinders he would whack out and replace.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
They're replicas, but I don't think there are that many functionable originals around.
Black powder. Cap and ball. Would take awhile to reload.
