Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
we now have a non-armcannon mancubus!
I still need to work on the after fire and hit frames.
thanks vader and agaures.

I would think the arms would be much shorter, since those arms seem to be just as long as their pyrocannons...

That looks great JoeyTD! Once you get done I may try giving an archvile-esk attack/resurrecting animation. It just seems like that sort of thing would fit.

Possibly, but I can see that thing having a big, long, lazy flop of a punch/arm swipe with those arms. Looks cool to me.DoomKrakken wrote:I would think the arms would be much shorter, since those arms seem to be just as long as their pyrocannons...

Awesome! Tell me you're planning sprites ( maybe angled ) for the reload of this gorgeous weaponGAA1992 wrote:What's your guys thoughts on this?
A possible (according to feedback) upgrade to the FG-42.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Thanks GENTEK and Arch-Vile!
It's a prototype for now, there's only this frame. But i'm working on something i've made. Actually i've already posted it here. It's the Browning Hi-Power upgrade. It will appear instead of the Bottini on the next update. The Ranger needs a silencer weapon.
And after this Browning is done (only DECORATE to do), i will work on the assault rifle updates.

Maybe the arms of normal Mancubi are amputated and replaced with the cannons. Kinda like how the Cyberdemon has one mechanical leg and one actual leg. In this case, the Mancubi just have two mechanical cannons surgically attached.DoomKrakken wrote:I would think the arms would be much shorter, since those arms seem to be just as long as their pyrocannons...

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
For the Cyberdemon, that'd be understandable, since it's basically a robot wrapped in flesh.
However, I haven't seen any advanced cybernetics on any Mancubus (save for the Cyber Mancubus). Those appeared to be basic flamecannons.
It's mainly the forearms, for me. I think those should be about two-thirds their current size.

Looks a lot like a cross between the Doom 64 SSG and the old Neccronixis DOOM SSG...

Now this is barely completed. And... Should we make its death animation normally or gruesome?JoeyTD wrote:we now have a non-armcannon mancubus!

Some Duke 3d pistol stuff!
Pistol dry-fire (could be useful if you want manual reloads to be the only way to reload or to create new fire modes):
Pistol without a laser and a sleeker look:
