This looks almost exactly like the original, I would love to see someone make a Hollywood Holocaust map for Doom that's exactly like the original since it's possible. I never liked the conversions that already existed.

Here's some progress of my mod so far, it's looking pretty good in my opinion. It's currently far from finished as I need to fix up the levels. I also need to add more actors, Even some animations aren't currently there. I'm planning on pushing the limits of Zandronum and GZDoom with this mod so i'm working hard. The original ZBlood was very disappointing as the creators didn't bother adding more stuff, It was simply a mediocre mod for Skulltaggers and not ZDoomers. Like the Shadow Warrior TC being worked on by Lex, I want it to be as accurate as the original, but with adding some new things as well. Zandronum can't handle everything the build engine does but it can handle most.
I might make a thread eventually, whenever I have the time for it. I'm currently releasing development builds on the ZBlood page on the Blood Wiki in case you want to test them out.

Swinging doors at the beginning of the level in the crypt can be done. Not so long ago, I found a very interesting thing when working with polyobjects. I can explain how to implement.

Proof of concept: Ultimate ability bar

Demon souls / energy drops for said ultimate ability
Decided for my mod Simply-Hard I'm gonna add an Ultimate ability bar in the bottom right of the screen (via sbarinfo)
If any of you played Overwatch, this would be a similar thing to Lucio's sound barrier where you get an insane layer over your health that rapidly decays, and this mod being built around Survival co-op in mind
I've decided to make it effect players in a large radius.
Getting your ultimate charge may take a while, it wont be a thing you can easily fill up and spam so be smart when you wanna "break it down"
In order to build ultimate charge, monsters will drop energy orbs as you will see above, conciser it like 'soul energy' or 'demon energy' these will charge your slot 1 item which you can deploy health kits for your
normal ability. Mine in this case will be special health kits that heal for 50 hp up to 200hp
If you are playing lets say, Kunais class (Red hud as an indicator) collecting green / orange orbs will give you 1 ability / ultimate charge; if you collect the red orb (same colour as your hud) you will get 2 ability charges + 1 ultimate charge
