That is some System Shock shit right there.kodi wrote:
All TEXTURES. Yes, you're blasting more further and further than anyone else, which it makes me feel so good rather than envious! So yeah, keep up the excellent ripping works, lad!Minigunner wrote:Everyone's all trying to sprite up the DOOM weapons and such and I'm like:

I feel bad that I want to use it to remake a flash game introduction of E1M1 that did it like a survival horror game instead of a shooter. But I do. Like badly.Project Dark Fox wrote:That is some System Shock shit right there.kodi wrote:

Ok, this one is tricky. "Оставить мир в покое" is probably the best option. Anything I come up with sounds weird, probably because of infinitive, usually mottos in Russian are more specific about who's going to do whatdarkhaven3 wrote:"Deliverance" is an organization that the player is the leader of in my mod. Their motto, "To leave the world be", means that they want to remove people from the control of distant governments that are more concerned with numbers than their well being. They envision a world where there is no more need for soldiers and the world can be at peace, and "to leave the world be" is meant to imply that they believe peace is the natural state of the world, and chronic warfare is not the answer to the world's problems. They see themselves as a product of their time, a temporary necessity that will eventually be remembered for their actions, but obsolete.

I wasn't aware, thanks for the interesting little tidbit. I guess it might make more sense in the context that it's an American soldier who knows Russian, but perhaps not all of their conventions/customs, who is supposed to have come up with the motto.Cherepoc wrote:Ok, this one is tricky. Thanks. Now I not only feel abnormal, but also dirty.Vostyok wrote:You're not alone there.NeuralStunner wrote:I'm probably in a very small percentage of people that likes dim, sparsely-lit maps.
Much like BDSM, when used sparingly and appropriately, it can be very exciting.

It would be neat if just for this mod, someone took the whole of episode 1, made it into a big hub with lots of new rooms and side areas, plus some story content delivered through terminals or audio logs. Knee Deep in the Dead: Immersive Sim Edition.

Yes please! Though I'm good with just the main content, we can make all the episodes afterwards.

How about the people who talk about "E1M1" instead of "The Docks"?NeuralStunner wrote:like seriously why does nobody else find this irritating
