Is it just me or did 1b buff the damage of... everything? I am dying on I Am a Wimp. I didn't have armor sure, but I mean... Imps were throwing their fireballs at Nightmare speeds and did UV damage on Easy.

I made the same remark earlier. So no, you are not alone.

After having played this mod a little bit, I must say that BD64 is hard as balls. There is one level (I can't remember exactly which) where you start out in some arena and go into this building with a square path around it. You kill a bunch of monsters there and then you go back out to the arena and have to battle it out with a bunch of zombie men, after which a bunch of imps and nightmare imps warp in, after which a bunch of pinkies warp in, and it eventually progresses to 2 cyberdemons. I had to mindfully preserve my ammo, including using only the chainsaw to kill all the pinkies. At the end, I used what little ammo I had left to kill the cyberdemons and was left with only like 20 shots of unmaker ammo when I finally killed them all.

Although I felt that the difficulty and scarcity of ammo in that level was kind of ridiculous, I did feel like a man and a half at the end. 8-)

I suspect Sarge must have accidentally enabled Hardcore's settings in all difficulty levels. That would explain why you take so much damage.

Anyway, I do not think playing BD64 maps with vanilla gameplay is such a good idea after all: for the most part, it works just fine, but I just realised I do not get to use the Artifact. :?

I believe that I am playing on ultra violence. And I had to duke it out with 3 spider masterminds before battling the 2 cyberdemons.

some levels are plain impossible, unless i am missing some secret switch, like the blue key room in the dark citadel.

and there are plenty of ambushes you need to know about in advance in order to survive (like being ambushed by 3 revenants in one map in small room).

Not to rustle anybody's jimmies or something like that, but:

BD64 maps are crashing on GZDoom, even on the latest builds.

Help would be appreciated.
(Note to admins/mods: Is it still okay to post here? This is my first post, btw)
