Some good keybindings when testing zdoom wads

Post by impClaw »

Some good keybindings when testing zdoom wads:

1. Bind n noclip - Easy turning noclip on or off
2. Bind k "give all" - Gives you all weapons
3. Bind u god - Can be good
4. Bind p fly - If you fall down a ledge, simply press p then fly up again

5. Bind Mouse2 mdk - Second mouse button kills enemy direcly, good for testing

6. Typing kill monsters is allways good

Also use the parameter: "+set developer 1" as then you see a lot of good messages, like when scripts start, and more

Comments?, more good things?

Surprisingly, most of the members of this forum are already quite familiar with every one of the commands you mentioned.

I have had the cheats memorized for 11 years... I guess that means the Doom cheats are permanently in my brain forever. I could get amnesia and all I would know are Doom cheats :P

Seonded. You could wake me up at 4 am, and I would definaely recitate all the cheat codes in no time, remembering, that it was IDCLIP ind Doom 2, but IDSPISPOPD in Doom.

I still remember the PSX Doom All weapons code: X, Triangle, L1, Up, Down, R2, Left, Left. Haha!
Some things just get stored in our brain forever and they have no or little meaning. Some don't, altough we would really wish they did.

How many of you can wake up at 4 am and remember that IDSPISPOPD stands for "Smashing Pumpkins Into Small Piles Of Putrid Debris"
