I found this wonderful only by watching it's gameplay. Gotta play now.
But, my only nitpick is using of quake 2 sounds. Other than that, seems awesome! As soon as i play it, i'll bring a better feedback
EDIT: Okay, i haven't opened the file on slade yet, but i've got some feedback and questions so far:
- What does Universal remote primary fire do?
- There's too much flickering on animations. I know it's too little time since it's up, i'm just noting that some animations blink on screen when they could use some offsets. Tron discs, both shotguns, peacemaker(s)...
- Punching has no sounds.
- Colt Peacemaker standard fire is kinda slow; Western altfire of course fires it faster. But that same secondary leaves revolver frames smoother than primary fire. So my suggestion (that would apply to the shotgun as well) is to speed up just a bit for the sake of smoothening and add some ticks before refire to leave it on the original.
That or even adding a +WEAPON.NOAUTOFIRE to leave the trigger on player's hands. Makes things more fast paced, in my opinion.
- Peacemaker(2) alternate fire flickers the hand(s) as well. Maybe a single sprite of a lowering hand would do it.
- Do you plan to add reloads?
- Do you plan to add custom ammo boxes?
That's all for now, i think. Can i work on a edited version and post it here, if possible? I'm really liking this game, it has a great potential.
P.S.: The baby milk sound is from a Super Nintendo game. I just can't remember which. Is it from some Donkey Kong game?
