I just stumbled upon an old creation of a friend and mine made in november of 2014

I can't believe I worked on this using a single 5:4 monitor of 1280x1024... It's what my nightmares are made of today lol

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I just went on a MM8BDM server with Justified Classes and DOS Classes. Or how I like to call it: "Glitches, Lag, and Pits". I even renamed myself "Mr. Fall-in-pits". Eventually I crashed. Hilariously, it was just after someone said that, before, the worst problem with JC was that it crashed 24/7. And then I returned to lose packets, so I crashed again. Since I crashed, but I can play by myself, I decided to do the bot rush...and then I crashed, AGAIN. Life is funny, indeed.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
So, remember when I said yesterday that I was bored? I played Half Life 2 for about 6 hours today. Mostly because I just really, really wanted to see how it ends.
It's a great game, although I got kinda sick of those apocalyptic-concrete-industrial-levels some times. I love it how assimilated the world is with Combine, and how nice it looks. And the Citadel-Level is probably the coolest of the whole series.
I can kinda see why everybody wants another HL, but honestly, if you asked me how a 3rd game would look like: I could not tell. I have no idea how the story should progress, I have no idea how to make the game not just be a rehash of HL1 or 2. Quite frankly, Valve probably does not know, either. Maybe, it's better to just let HL be what it is. We may never know who or what the G-Man really is, and we will never know why everybody loves Gordon in the second game, and why he is so important. But maybe that's how it's supposed to be. Yes, the ending of HL2 is open, but so cryptic that I honestly don't know if it even says anything.

I just now found these 3 videos on YouTube and I see a whole bunch of new monster that I have never seen before well except for the original monsters but I was just wondering if I could find out where to download these newer monsters from.

When they said "frames per second", I don't think they meant "frame per second".

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Been replaying that old Cthulhu mod for Half-Life again.
http://www.moddb.com/mods/cthulhu
I cannot explain why i liked it.
First time i played it, i kinda hated it.
Level design (especially for a fellow Hammer user) is trash, custom stuff looked horrid, mod is almost as dark as Afraid of Monsters (same flashlight as well), and you get to actually shoot at Cthulhu himself (though the ending is as you would expect).
Then it slowly grew on me for some reason, started replaying it for no reason and all.
It was the only Cthulhu mod for Half-Life that mixes a lot of HP's lore while having some bits of combat in it (adds a bit since i was tired of no-combat horror games).
It even got to the point where i ended up making a remod for it, improving some of the more visual/audio stuff.
And now i'm playing it again.
Cthulhu fhtagn i guess.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I found some notable weapon sounds from Gears of War. Here's the zip folder with them:

Here's the thread where I found the resources from too:http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=37442

That resource thread has that sound effects, i don't think it's important to re-upload them here again. Unless the download links in there are taken down or something.

Eh, these are just the more useful sounds I put in here. Most of the weapon sounds I found in there were bullet impact and... well that's mostly it.Captain J wrote:That resource thread has that sound effects, i don't think it's important to re-upload them here again. Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I have a question: Did anybody else find Suicide Squad incredibly boring and mediocre at best for the fact that Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Crocodile and Diablo (and that Boomerang-Guy I never heard of before) are together in one movie? Why do they just act like normal superheroes the entire time?
Spoiler:
