it's a really, really, really boring game. honestly the level-design, coupled with the aesthetic and quite frankly bland music makes the game about as engaging as taking sleeping meds. the chasing segments against Shadow Mario are a waste of time, none of the level-designs are really captivating or memorable except for that fun-fair level, the story is dumb, cleaning up goop isn't the most interesting thing to do really, none of the objectives are really imaginative or fun to do aside from a choice few, getting certain Sprites IIRC you are forced to do in order to beat the game as opposed to playing the levels you like and get the ones you want to get, and the thing about Peach being called Bowser Jr.'s mama is just frigging weird. i know it's not meant to be taken THAT way, but holy crap did my eyeballs roll when i was younger reading that. please don't insert such things into a Mario game again Nintendo.Clownman wrote:Playing Mario Sunshine again, Why is this game so contested? it's not a bad game at all. there are some good elements to the game, and the control is a lot better than Super Mario 64. it is however a pretty mediocre Mario game that i wouldn't recommend going back to unless you feel like falling asleep and being reminded of how much better game-design Super Mario 64 and the later Galaxy games had.
