Plutonia Simulator

Hello everyone!

What if all Doom WADS were like The Plutonia Experiment/PRCP/Plutonia 2? The Plutonia Simulator is the answer to this question!



With Plutonia Simulator you can play any PWAD for Doom 1 and Doom 2 or play original Doom 1, Doom 2 & TNT Evilution. Mod changes textures, add 70 tracks which are play randomly in each level. What if you run Plutonia Simulator with... Plutonia itself? I will not say. It's all up to you to test this!

Plutonia Simulator works with latest versions of GZDoom and Zandronum.

You can re-start the level you can get more easier monster spawn, because all monsters spawns randomly.

You say the music is random, but Map32 will always play a variation on Nobody Told Me About id, right? I'd download and find out for myself, but I'm on vacation with a lousy connection and a laptop not meant for gaming, and I don't get back until Friday.

It's just a random use problem. Restart map32 about 5 times and you'll get the needed result. All maps except Map30 uses random music. Only map 30 uses 2 random tracks instead of 70 due to Final Battle reasons.

Tested map32 already. Random music works fine to me. The first try gived to me "E1M2" music, next try gived to me music from Plutonia 2.

we played this on e1m6 with 5 players and we barely finished it

this is even hard when it comes to e1m7 because most of the monsters are tratatagunners that shoots from everywhere plus we played it on nightmare and survival

This mod is upgraded to v1.1 - fixed Cacodemon and Pain Elemental' spawn parameters.

I like the concept of this - especially how it pokes fun at the level design of the original Plutonia.

It may just be RNG being quirky, but I was quite saddened by the lack of archviles I saw.

I'll prefer the "Cyberdreams Simulator" - Everything are Cyberdemons, no BFG normal spawn, and the BFG is the Berserk Pack. LoL

This mod+my mod with the archviles that can resurrect other archviles and bosses=Doom-prepare to die edition.
