It's understandable because i've had some kind of bad things like he had.
Same here with My Hiro Hamada Doom Mod. THankfully, I mostly have a flash drive that contains backups nearby.

For starters, it's not like riding a bike.
I haven't touched an editor in years until I started on something for DUMP and I still remember some mapping things, but I still can't finish anything I start. :/

Also, i sure do remember i've worked on DECORATE scripting a lot. But now, thanks to making sprites for netronian mod of mine, i forgot almost of things.

Yes, you can still study to remind what did you forgot so it's not that rude to forget things for reason.

Because it's sooo easy right? Doom, of ALL things, shit, you believe this guy? How stupid is he? I'm so good at modding, it's so easy, I've been making my MSPaint ripfest Disney fanfic supermod single-handedly!!! This guy can't even mod, ha! I'm so cool!

Whatever your opinion, I feel like this might be a little too mean-spirited.

Speaking of mean, my wireless network adapter is mean, making my computer crash during hibernation randomly. I hate fully restarting the computer, though it wouldn't be such a pain I once again had a solid state drive (I never replaced the failed one, going back to hard drives, gonna wait for xpoint to supercede NAND at this point)

I only played the Dissolution of Eternity expansion to Quake. I think I only played it once. I remember it looking very nice, and some of the music, and there being some weapons that didn't really fit in too well. I think they were like the normal weapons except a little weird-looking and firing more shots. Don't remember much else. :)

Scourge of Armagon is a little bit weirder IMO. Mostly I have a beef with the Proximity Gun, as "thoughtfully placing bombs" doesn't really gel with Quake. It's basically just a Grenade Launcher by that point.
The music is also this unfitting generic horror music that sounds more "OOOOH! Spooky!" than the genuine horror that was the Quake soundtrack.

I would personally skip over MP1 and go straight to MP2 first, but that's just me.

There's a bit of a "seinfeld effect" with the first 2 missionpacks. MP1 was once really technically impressive at the time because of rotating brush entities which is something modders failed to ever come up with in the day (and is still tricky to do in a hull-fussy bsp format). FWIW Zerstorer's rotating gate was a couple of toggled brush entities with fixed placement.

also hipdm1 and levelord's ego had to do something with it. qmp1 would probably play better and more familiar with duke3d's arsenal
