Well, to anyone who says it's difficulty, i want to share my tips to you guys; Save the BFG ammo and use it for sticky situation, love the gauss cannon and chaingun and always go for the chainsaw's alt attack often to whack the pinata. a Demonic pinata, that is.
AdmiralAjax wrote:Did you guys seriously make the download "for members only"?
making an account in there would be easy, though.
torridgristle wrote:Also, whenever I run out of ammo it automatically switches to the pistol which is far from pleasant mid-fight. I believe Weapon.SelectionOrder will solve this.
Eyup. This is the main reason why killing the enemies are so slow.

Sorry, I can't reply very well while I'm on my phone. But i want to make this clear: the download isn't for members only.

That's moddb doing stupid stuff for some reason. Just reload the page and it should let you download it no problem.

Will reply to everyone whenever i get in a proper keyboard.

Err, I upgraded a chaingun with Gatling rotator, but all it does is keep the barrel rotating like Doom 4. But the description said the upgrade let me fire mini missiles...

It actually does, try to press the primary fire button while holding the secondary fire button.

So after trying the chainsaw alt fire to maintain ammo it does indeed work rather well. However would it be possible to make a quick execute type of attack for it, i.e. being able to chainsaw someone while blasting away with the gauss cannon? Switching to chainsaw then back is a little awkward. And the HUD already shows a fuel ammo count.

Not sure if it is just me but the fire rate for the Shotgun and Rocket Launcher seem a tiny bit slow.

True that. But that would make the player overpowered yet senseless how he can bring up the prepared chainsaw with one arm IMO. But at least you can change your weapon faster, though.

Rocket launcher does fires so slow except shotgun. But don't forget it can fire 3 Rockets in a row and much faster with lock-on mod on.

I don't mind if the weapon is lowered. I essentially want the multiple keystrokes of switching to chainsaw, alt-firing, and switching back to previous weapon streamlined into one keypress. I wouldn't even mind if that process took a little longer than actually hitting the buttons and/or using some fuel regardless of whether a monster is hit or not.

I don't think it's that they're that durable, I think the problem is that they're so skinny and fast. They die easily when they're standing in place and I'm right up against them, but otherwise they could take 4 super shotgun blasts to down.

I think you misunderstood. Only HAR can fire mini-missiles. Chaingun's Gatling Rotator fires explosive rounds, just like Spider Mastermind from Brutal Doom.

That is why I want to see a quick kick in here. (and Shotgun's speed is fine)

Look at that video DBT showed, [11:00]. He needed 6 Shotgun shots to take down a Revenant (I am assuming that was UV, as damage from enemies indicates that). I think it should be no more than 4 SG's accurate blasts. As for now, they are almost as tough as Hellknights, which is ridiculous.

Do not let them blindside you and just give them a faceful of buckshot. Their reaction time is slow. Also, remember you can crouch under their shots (but do not abuse it, or they will correct their aim).

Not sure why they did that (or if they even have control of it), but you can just click the option to use a different mirror. Works fine for me, no moddb account.

I really like how the Pinkies behave now. I did not think there was anything you could do to improve its dash, yet you proved me wrong. Congrats! :D

It's Moddb being dumb. When a server capacity reaches a certain level, they force you to join... Or you can simply try a mirror and circumvent their flawed system.

man you guys are fast. i post feedback in the thread and completely miss there's a new version out. :P

edit: also, i wanted to ask: is there co-op support for this? would it lag heavily or not with these graphical effects on, and how would the credits system work?
