[DRLA] Personal DRLA Addon

DESCRIPTION :

Here's my own personal addon for DoomRLA.
This addon is made for 1.1, later versions compatibility may vary.

A lot of sound replacements are added along with some modified graphics.
Auto Double Shotgun and WST given wider graphics for 16:9 resolutions.

Next time, you might want to ask Wildweasel for permission to use his sound pack. As noted in his signature:

the quad shotgun most definately visibly loads in 4 shells. if you open the reload frames side by side with the normal double SG, you'll see the difference
and the stealth rifle is based on a model based on the FN FAL, i believe

- Thing is, it requires actual comparison to see that the QS is being reloaded 4 shells instead of 2 due to the small size of the shells.
Well, compared to the barrel, that is.
Other mods that utilize quad shotguns such as XWeapons/RO have done it better imo.

I'm unsure why you needed to use ww-drla-sounds as a base when a mod like this could easily have been made as its own thing to be loaded after it. Especially since my patch literally only touches sounds and SNDINFO.

I started doing the addon replacing the sounds in ww-drla-sounds, removing the sndinfo resulted in some of the audio reverting back to what the original DRLA uses.
Though maybe i should have specified that this requires that particular file.

Look at this egg on my face.
I'll separate the files and reupload it as soon as i can.

Actually, the stealth rifle is based on the Infiltrator from Fallout 3 The Pitt DLC without the scope.

BTW, the HP Marksman Pistol sprite is a Colt M1911 and the Burst Rifle sprite is a SIG SG552/3.

Updated the download with more sounds and the updated QS 4 shell reload sprite.
Added D64's Chainsaw to replace the Double Chainsaw.
Recolored muzzleflashes on some weapons to orange, for variety reasons.
Changed the direction on where the Scoped Rifle reloads.

Updated the download again.

- Added more sounds, I think this pack can just about be played standalone now. Stuff that match with WW's pack are still there though, incase you're running them together.
- Removed all the custom sprites, so it should work with 1.1 without inconsistent shots. I did add a couple of sprites that could do with a widescreen addon.
