Re: Shadow Of The Wool Ball :3 (v1.1 Released!)
Honestly, I skipped over this the first time I saw it. I'm glad I finally gave this thing a try because it's a great fresh and funny take on classic Wolfenstein 3D with some interesting new mechanics. I finished the whole thing in just under an hour and I had a blast. The intro/ending cinematics are some of the most inventive use of animation in ZDoom I've ever seen, and I especially liked how the music played a vital part of the cutscenes and really played up the cartoony vibe.
It's a shame this game was so short, but it's simply great fun and well designed, and it has that pick-up-and-play quality to it that you can come back to.
Awesome job!

This project is really amazing, i love the Wolfenstein 3d gameplay style, music, graphics and level desing is cool, same for weapons, enemies and bosses, but one small thing i disagree with is length of game, but i there will be sequels, fun will last for quite sometime. Also, end picture of Episode 2, there is a line in down-right corner, where you can see part of Wool-ball, which is not supposed to be there, might do a playthrough of this.

When can we expect the v1.2 btw? And more importantly: When comes the sequel?

It would indeed take a little bit of work to make the levels multiplayer-friendly, but it certainly wouldn't be impossible. I'd even be happy to help out.MSPaintR0cks wrote:It would only work when I rebuild all the levels and remove unnecessary lines and scripts.

@Tormentor
I`m working on it now and then, I think it`s almost finished
And I do already have some ideas for a sequel, but right now I am kind of burned out on ZDoom editing.
@Ed the Bat
I have to admit I never really played doom in multiplayer so much. Only a few times on ZDaemon.
And I have no idea what I would have to take care of if I would want the maps to be multiplayer friendly... I guess adding more player starts? That`s about all I know. :3

before making the game multiplayer-friendly, make sure every cats have 5~8 rotations for their each frames except death frame! without them, it would be awkward to against them because they only looking at the one direction.
plus, hedgehog player sprites are needed as well. just take it slow now!

Re: Shadow Of The Wool Ball :3 (v1.1 Released!)
Just added version 1.2.
Changes:
Oh no, please no sprite rotations D:
I always hated doing those, they are such a chore and really not fun to make.
Avoiding them was one of the reasons why I even got finished with this wad. :3
Changes:
- A sad little Game Over Screen you get when when you die (thx to Captain J for inspiration) :3
- Got rid of that door bug in E1M1
- Doors can now be re-opened a lot faster
- Chaingun now only shoots 2 bullets per click
- Prisoners can now also be freed by simply pressing Use
- "1"s now look less like "7"s
- Added a fancy little Startup Title for the Zdoom Launcher
- That green stripe at the bottom at the end of Ep2 is now gone :3

Re: Shadow Of The Wool Ball :3 (v1.2 Released!)
The main thing to make it multiplayer friendly would involve modifying the map scripts to account for it, primarily the escape sequences and cutscenes. And this new Game Over screen, if that's been added.

Excellent work, glad my feedbacks were really worthy! also i have been thinking about the another Game Over Screen, the Cat leader laughs at you(and flips you off, if you want something additional) and saying 'Give Up!'.
Now how can you quit without being mad after looking at him? heheheh.

Really cute, fun little game! It would be sweet if it was ported to ecwolf! I like the direction you took the wolf3d style, the level design is better than a lot of wolf3d maps.

Okay, this has to be my favorite mod so far! This is absolutely hilarious and creative in its own way, please keep it up. My only suggestion is to create a new original explosion effect that fits better with the style. (if you want I can animate you one)

In 1.2 in e1m2 pressing use on the door directly behind the player start gives an unknown script 6 message
