Suddenly i cannot delete the file in a trash folder in mediafire. whatever i click the files to delete, it fails and says, there was a problem while purging the file(s).

Speaking of spams, I was assigned to an IP that's probably have been notorious through the internet before. I keep being ruled as a spambot and because of that I can't visit this forum for a couple of hours before. Glad it's fine now. There are still some small number of sites that I still can't visit though. But they're not important to me that much.

yeahhhhhh this happened to me as well back in December 2015. Ended up deleting my email and setting up a new one because unsubscribing from all that shit was more effort that it was worth. I'm kinda surprised whoever's doing that is still doing that (though at the same time I'm really not).

If it gets worse, I'll set up a filter. All the lists are part of the same org, Salem Web Network, so it should be easy to set a filter that catches anything that contains that little string. I doubt it would snag any false positives

Even though this is an alt account, I really don't want to abandon it.

So that's where all that crap came from? But yeah I just used a "block address" feature for it.

I suppose it's that same Carlos guy that is/was periodically spamming the idgames comments.

What a crappy looking mod. It's steps away from becoming another Doomguy's Warzone. Lots of stuff that clash w/ each other. Also, if you wants lots of weapons there's ÆOD.

Starting today, email addresses will be stripped from the text files of files uploaded to idgames to prevent this from happening again.
