after finally taking a deep breathe and actually watching the trailer after trying to block it out for so long, I must say it does feel very Doomie! and the colors really help it. It feels exactly how i'd imagine Doom if it was made back in the day with the new technology.

It would have been cooler if it was a first-person scene like in the Doom movie, but it's better than the movie anyway.

I promise you there will be a new Doom movie coming out after this game, either live action or most probably CGI animated movie. Cyb, Spider, Rev all three of those have too much potential not to appear in a film.

Managed to get the closed alpha to run at a playable framerate, so I recorded a video of me playing around with all the weapons (except for the machinegun, I forgot to switch to it near the end of the video):
I need to mess with my OBS settings more, the game was running at a stable 40-50fps, yet the recording is much, much laggier

Lucky you - I can't even start the beta thanks to this:
FATAL ERROR: wglCreateContextAttribsARB failed
Recommended settings include NVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB and Core i7-3770 4-Core 3.4GHz.
A rig with these costs a couple of grand which is almost outta the question.

FYI does anyone else have the beta and some equivalent to Intel HD Graphics 4000 and i5-3230M? More importantly, if it works like a miracle can they post a screenshot of it?
