Y'all better hurry, then; there are only 48 hours (ish?) of mapping time left.

Oh, well, nevermind then. I'll just wait around for the inevitable episode 3 :P

Likewise, sign me up for E3 whenever it happens. It's been too far long since I attempted to make a map. :P

Yeah, I ain't getting my map done for this round in time, so I'll probably recycle the theme idea I had here for next time. Now that I, y'know, actually HAVE a specific theme.

The 16th. In your time zone. So whenever it hits 11:59 PM on the 16th for you, hopefully you've submitted. :P

As I said before, I'm not especially a stickler for time. The priority of the project is JUST DO IT, not how long it took to make--the schedule is a motivator, not a barrier.
I'm expecting one or two submissions about a day or two late, especially since I'm gonna take a bit of time to compile the levels together and make a .pk3.

Speaking of which, my map is done! Phew! Kind of hectic and at the last minute, but WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I'll probably start compiling things tomorrow or the day after.

Soosisya_san's map submission.

I've asked him if he was serious and he said yes. I've looked at him really sternly and he responded by running away.

I dunno. I can't tell.

Count me inches, I'll try to make a decent map based on the layout of the train station and the town outskirts, or the secondary UAC office infested with zombiemen and chaingunners all over the place.

Here we go. My finished map (with music and a few fixes). Like I said earlier; a hybrid of Episode 1 and some Doom II elements. After putting the music in, it felt so much better.

This looks like a better volcano stage than my volcano stage. (Was never very good at making more open level design.)

Here's mine; it's a little bare, but I'm satisfied with it. Whether anyone else will be is another question, and I do hope the critique is harsh. :D

P.S. It doesn't have it's own music, mostly due to the fact I couldn't find any I felt suited it.

...I have a stupid idea. I might be submitting a map for this round after all. Because most of the work'll be ACS.

I liked the "fusion machine" part, but the last fight was quite annoying, specially with the red lights.

Fun fights, made me wish it were a little longer considering the amount of weapons you get (I'm not sure if I missed the cause of all the shaking? Didn't get 100% kills).
The two switches near the window felt pointless, otherwise damn fine map, the demonic opposition was a little tame for my tastes.

Bite-sized with hard encounters, perfect! I don't know about the lower difficulties, but in UV ammo placement is weird, you get a lot of ammo and backpacks when you have less than 5 monsters left to kill, yet I ran out of ammo halfway through the map in what probably is the hardest part. Maybe add a chainsaw? (unless you want people to use the fist for the spectre part).
I liked the underground tunnel, the red card room with the bridges, and the fact that you must risk yourself to get the ammo needed to clear it. An arachnotron got bugged inside a wall after I picked up the card, you should try to fix that.
The teleport to the red card works weirdly, I think that only one linedef actually teleports you, so you have to dance above it until you step on the right one.

Tested all of the maps in UV and with GZdoom 2.1.1.

Hi everyone.

So... I wanted to leave my first post here along with a nice map, but then i realized that deadline is already tomorrow.
And that I've never done anything in doom builder.
And i can't map for shit...

Still - count me in. I will try to finish it as fast as i can and maybe i will make it in time.

Oh - and here's a screen of my halfway finished map if anyone is interested.
Spoiler:
Cheers.
