Re: [WIP][Demo] Gunslinger 2.0
I have been thinking about it, and haven't been able to think up anything, so thank you for the suggestion, I'll look into it.

Re: [WIP][Demo] Gunslinger 2.0
Just did some quick research, and that's the Hotchkiss Revolving Cannon. Here's an article on it: http://www.forgottenweapons.com/manual- ... ng-cannon/DukeWooze wrote:I have to ask. Do you have any plans for a rocket launcher type weapon? If not you need to think of some kind of a weapon that can kill the Icon of Sin and the only way (that I know of) to kill it is with the rocket launcher by shooting his brain hole.
You could use a fictional handheld version of this thing maybe.
It is a revolving cannon that shoots 37MM rounds if I'm not mistaken. It says on the page that explosive bullets weren't use because they were deemed "inhumane" but you'll be hunting demons so that isn't an issue.
And by the way I'm not saying you have to use it, but just think of a weapon that can kill the Icon of Sin.
Wonderful suggestion DukeWooze! Fictional hand-carried version of this thing would make a wonderful Rocket Launcher replacement!

Dang, these are looking really good
Re: [WIP][Demo] Gunslinger 2.0
I REALLY like the animation work in this! It's so smooth, I love it. I also love that this mod features round-by-round reloads for the revolver.

Re: [WIP][Demo] Gunslinger 2.0
Here's a heavier rifle you could consider for the mod, repeating rifle for the more heavyweight demons:
^
Spencer Carbine Model 1865
^
Variants
^
Buttstock Magazine system of the Spencer.
Wiki Article: https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Spencer_repeating_rifle
Caliber: .52 Caliber
Ammo: .56-56 Spencer Rimfire
Tube Magazine: 7+1
Effective Range: 500 Yards
EDIT: Just read how you don't want redundant weapons...hmm...I guess that means the Spencer rifle won't make it in...

Re: [WIP]Gunslinger 2.0[Demo 3/14/2016]
Good work on the revisions so far! The pistol is much more useful now, and the quick TNT throw is a godsend! THANK YOU, THANK YOU for fixing the armor now too!
I'm guessing Heretic support is still in the early stages? Because right now, you can't really use inventory items in Heretic. Would be interested to know if you're planning tomed versions of the guns for Heretic or just going to replace the tomes, as tomed versions of the guns don't seem that useful. Hmm...maybe the tomes could be replaced with a hand of poker cards, like the 'Dead Man's Hand' and could serve as a temp damage multiplier.
