The MOD already has auto stat assignment on level up in the menu settings, you can mess with that for now.peewee_RotA wrote:Perhaps having a setting that auto assigns stats and skills would be an interesting approach.

Although im not big on rpg mods or games for that matter this one got me hooked great job good sir one thing though could you quite possibly make an enemy pack for strife like you did with doom cause it kinda feels weird using fantasy style stuff with guys using an assault guns and robots lol?

Sorry for the bump, but I can't seem to find shopkeepers. What do they look like? Also, To get new skills, do I need to be at a higher level?

Shopkeepers appear rarely, if at all. In my case, I've only seen one or two in Hexen, in different full playthroughs; they appear more often in Doom and Heretic though. They use the sprite of the robed guys from Strife, look for a dude wearing a robe and a hood, and a mask of sorts; when you find them, be careful though, as they attract aggro from monsters and they can be killed if you're not quick to get to them.
As for skills, every time you level up you get a skill point which you can use in any skill. However, higher tier skills, such as Mana Recharge, or Meteor, need a certain amount of skill points spent so that you may put points into them.
For example, Mana Charge needs 7 skill points spent, so you would be able to start using it at level 8, once you have Repulsion and other 6 points spent any way you like.

I am suprised that one bishop variation called priest, or acolyte (the reddish one) is always friendly. I have to ask - why? I disabled him anyway, but it is curious.

He's friendly so that he targets enemies with his attack, which heals them. He's not helping you!krokots wrote:I am suprised that one bishop variation called priest, or acolyte (the reddish one) is always friendly. I have to ask - why? I disabled him anyway, but it is curious.

Hello dev, there is a weird bug whenever i reach a certain lvl,it gives me 100 extra lvls instantly, but without any points, please fix.
Re: Wrath of Cronos RPG 1.8A
That makes sense, but when I'm playing necro, my summons don't attack priests. They consider them as friendly. I'd still prefer them to be normal enemies, not healers.Funky Gnoll wrote:He's friendly so that he targets enemies with his attack, which heals them. Well, there are a lot of Disciples of D'Sparil/Bishops variations in Wrath of Cronos so I like to find one of them very different in their "attacks"krokots wrote:That makes sense, but when I'm playing necro, my summons don't attack priests. I have same problem.Here1011 wrote:Hello dev, there is a weird bug whenever i reach a certain lvl,it gives me 100 extra lvls instantly, but without any points, please fix.
I have played Wrath of Cronos on zandronum server with chillax megawad on. After getting through countless amount of enemies on random maps, I suddenly got over 300 levels up (probably on map 10), so I end up having around 750 levels in total, yet none of the 300 level ups I got me points that I could spend on stats nor skills. Same happened after I restarted the game I end up from level 70-90 to level or more 150, and I still haven't got any points to spend on my stats, neither skills. Since I already reach 150 level, I couldn't get any more skill points and had to restart the game in order to fix it.
It's really frustrating and dissapointing.

Any suggestions to fix this issue manually, or this will be fixed in next update?

That must be a Zandronum version bug, I have never encountered that on the GZDoom version.

It's possible you haven't played on chillax against 2k of monsters at the same time and tried to kill them all just in 2 minutes.Valherran wrote:That must be a Zandronum version bug, I have never encountered that on the GZDoom version.

Re: Wrath of Cronos RPG 1.8A
I've killed over 2k monsters at once with the "kill monsters" command on various maps, and I have never seen that happen in the GZDoom version.MaxRideWizardLord wrote:It's possible you haven't played on chillax against 2k of monsters at the same time and tried to kill them all just in 2 minutes.Valherran wrote:That must be a Zandronum version bug, I have never encountered that on the GZDoom version.

I have doubt it's somehow related to the port.Valherran wrote:I've killed over 2k monsters at once with the "kill monsters" command on various maps, and I have never seen that happen in the GZDoom version.MaxRideWizardLord wrote:It's possible you haven't played on chillax against 2k of monsters at the same time and tried to kill them all just in 2 minutes.Valherran wrote:That must be a Zandronum version bug, I have never encountered that on the GZDoom version.
However, does this issue somehow related with difficulty you play on??
I played on JustAPlayer server. It was set on on some easy difficulty because it gives you more points to spend on stats per level up (4). Can this be the cause of this issue by any chance? Why it happens so random?? Sometimes it never happens, sometimes it happens more. Could be leveling wisdom can make this happened?
