Is 1.4 the same as Final on idgames or is it newer?
Looking forward to new BR2 though, how many maps this time around?

1.4 is newest.

There's gonna be, like the first Beyond Reality, 16 maps.

Do you still intend it to be an extension of the first, or is it going to be a whole other file, etc.?

I can't believe I haven't tried this masterpiece yet.
I say good luck on the sequel.

You can play it by itself or with Beyond Reality 1.

jsut wanted to say that i haven't forgotten about Mayhem Mansion and the creepy concrete homage to the opening that I missed so much was very cool.

Thanks, though a bit off-topic. I should probably update MM soon though, now that you mention it.

Within a week's time, a new version of beyond reality 2 should be out. New episode, new monsters, and some changes here and there.

I can't help but marvel the first screenshot. Beautiful room, yet hilarious monsters all in one picture.
Simply marvelous.

I got one more map to go for episode 2, but I feel like editing future maps instead, thus y'all can have the release a bit early.
Here ya go!

(Protip on map19 and map20, when in doubt, press 'use' on monitors. [something that will be fixed up in the next version, you'll see xP] )

Oh, and it requires the first Beyond Reality to run at the moment. And I have it updated to v1.5 just for that!

CHANGELOGGED wrote:- New player sprites (Still WIP, though)
- Now using mapinfo for player class
- New sound effects
- New crate textures in map05 and map06
Though, if you have plans on using zandronum, use this patch so that you can use the faster pistol and fist.

Okay, actually super impressed with the legless, cannonless floaty manc. That's awesome!
