Looks decent, but the grip needs to be wooden and the nuke symbol would be cut. Also there needs to be a animation when reloading. It could be a 'insert shells, rack' or just 'rack'.

So it's not just me that thinks large->small gunflashes look bizarre?

I should also add that there is absolutely no kick to that animation, making it look like some useless pyrotechnic piece.

Heh, I was originally completely unimpressed with this at first glance because it looked like just a sprite rip from the game with no changes... and then it dawned on me that Blood didn't have centered shotgun sprites. Cue impression polarity insta-reverse.

Congrats on the fooling -- that means it's a success. :P

Haven't made even a single sprite in a while! The video game reference here should be pretty obvious.

Looks like I've been Trumped.

EDIT: In sprite related news, but still not somehow, Term shared some designs for DemonSteele enemies he had, and I started 3D modeling some, in hopes someone can sprite them from the models.

This shit is always so much fun to pick apart.

I wasn't trying to split hairs or anything - I just thought the sprites had an interesting look with the helmet and the doom marine armor. Obviously, they said, "What's an Imperial Commando look like?", and grabbed what they knew - which was the Republic Commando imagery from the game. (Republic Commando also had a cancelled sequel called Imperial Commando - which would have been interesting...)

I was unaware of that book or any other artwork, really. So I thought that yours looked like the equivalent of an Imperial Commando during the classic movies era under Vader. Interestingly enough, Wookieepedia mentions, (but does not state exactly when), the 501st Legion/Battalion traded-in their Old Republic armor and weapons for standard Imperial Storm Trooper armor and weapons. THEN THIS HAPPENED!!!!:

Wookieepedia, (and I've read elsewhere), that THESE are Imperial Commandos:
Spoiler:
And, according to the new Battlefront game - THESE are Imperial Commandos!
Spoiler:
It could be that the ones we see in the movies are in their regular uniforms, whereas they are armored only when deployed. Makes sense.

Fun Stuff.
