Noticed something:

The minigun takes two pieces of NATO for every one bullet shot.

Can't replicate that. The decorate code has six separate A_FireBullets for each "Hold" state pass. If you hold down the fire button just long enough to get to the hold state and then let go so it only goes through once, six bullets are used so I am not seeing a bug here.

Another update!:
AUG 8 [v1.11]
  • Fixed fancy smoke disable option. Now includes enemy smoke generation
  • Modified kick sprites to include weapons and be generally smoother
  • Reduced the chance of headshot imp death sprite
  • Separated ACS and general code cleanup
  • Caco has a new headshot death
  • Baron now enters last stand mode around 50% rather than 70%
  • Pinkies now just have a VERY low pain chance. Removed the +NOPAIN flag from their charge

Nice trailer! :)

I haven't had a chance to play with 1.11 yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Just a quick (harassment) question. Have you had time to look into doing idle animations or has that just gone by the wayside? Cheers. :)

Zombies, imps, and Pinkies have new idle animations :) Looking to see if I can find more.

Tried to do some brightening and thought I got most of it. If not, I'll try to do it a biiiiit more.

[EDIT]K, try the video on the original post to see if that is any better.

Loving 1.11 so far although I think there's a small issue. When running GZDoom and 1.11 on my desktop all is well. However, if I run 1.11 on my netbook with ZDoom and switch off the smoke effects I get a message running constantly on the game screen. It says something like:

ACS: I DON'T KNOW WHAT DISABLESMOKEEFFECTS IS

The effects are switched off and the game runs smoother. It's just the error message is constantly on screen. Not sure if it's my machine (Asus T100), OS (Windows 10 Home 32bit) or Faspons (1.11).

Apart from that, I'm really liking it. :)

Don't worry, any kind of errors are usually my fault and this one was :P It was because I changed how the Disable Fancy Smoke option value was retrieved so I forgot to update the ACS.

I uploaded a new version so click the Download link again and try out that one :)

Holy crap, I really like this. Every change is so subtle, but so thoughtful; it's like you've gotten to the heart of what really worked in other weapon mods and just assembled the good bits.
