Human beings are not built like that. What you've sprited is a fetish, not a person.
What I've sprited looks exactly like a girl I know. So you said she's not a person. She'll be happy to hear that...
Come on, have you never seen a chubby girl IRL?

seriously, this is so pathetically bad it's almost meme-worthy, people come in all sorts of odd shapes and sizes.

THATS A FETISH NOT A PERSON.

there are people like that

i think what zero is giving in relation to is that, when most people design women characters, its usually ultra curvaceous, or sexythin/bimboish, or a typical "sexy athletic" look. there are folks like that, but i think he meant in relation to people just always being *designed* like that

It's doing the same thing the Imp sprites do - the arms and legs on the same side of the body move in the same direction, when naturally, we expect it to move in opposite directions. This isn't a bipedal creature, so the balance is probably different, but it *might* look more natural if you (Ray) mirror the direction of the upper torso for all of the movement frames.
didn't noticed it, but makeing it's arms waving reversely is seems better to me.

No, what I'm saying is those thighs are gigantic, her waist tapers in so much that there looks to be little room for organs, and her arms look like short, stumpy toothpicks. The fetish remark stems from the fact that mazmon seems to draw just about everything as a woman and built the same way, which is to say like something out of fetishized cartoon porn.

This is what I'm talking about. It's about the most non-NSFW example I could find, but you probably still shouldn't open it in front of your boss, or anyone who doesn't want to see an incredibly disproportionate female version of Venom.

That's what would happen when he mirrors the upper torso (including the arms) for all of the frames. Or just mirror the lower torso, which would achieve the same thing.

I think you're way off, its not exactly even a character, its a "prop" (uh oh).

He's also drawn male characters with unrealistic sized muscles (but its a powerfantasy, not objectification amirite?), It's a statue, a crafted representation of a woman, not the real thing and I dont see any issue with someone depicting a voluptuous figure, like what organs its a candelebra.

that venom figure is entirely different to the sprite, I understand you used that as an example but I don't see anything particularly fetish about the sprite, the venom thing for sure, the sprite no, large thighs or irregular body proportions on a statue dont automatically make it something fetishisized or sexually deviant.

its not even human.

The only thing wrong about the proportions is that the legs are about 1.3 times the size they would normally be, otherwise it is rather generously proportioned.

Much unlike the completely monstrous example you're showing there.

That's a dangerous fetish there, Zero. A real girl could burn herself holding those two candles. :P

Okay, I get it. It's not a real person. But then nothing here is. Therefore nothing can be critiqued nor can it have human qualities applied to it because reasons. Also I'm a bad person and apparently I have some sort of double standards or something? Whatever.

Jesus, just forget I said anything and move on.

For the record, I wasn't actually trying to make it look attractive, I'm not a candleabraphile.
This is what I think an attractive girl looks like:
Image
mmm yea thats what i'm talkin about boi
So the next time I sprite something which looks remotely female, please think twice before telling me what is and what is not attractive to me :P
(not meaning to hammer you too hard Zero)
Now somebody should post a sprite and get us back on topic :D

Ohhh, when you said "fetish" I thought you meant that it was styled like one of these:
Spoiler:
Yeah, so that's a fertility fetish doll and they typically show oddly proportioned people (the males... well, I'm sure that you can imagine which part of the male ones tend to be enlarged). So, when you called the candelabra a fetish, I thought that you meant the generous proportions of the thighs made you think of one of these.

The leg length is fine on my view, in just think the thighs are not fair for the size in comparison with the torso. Says the creature with contradictory size in body, lol

How about I fix it and then we can all move on?
Image
There we go. Waist isn't too small, legs proportionate to body, arms are longer, it's now animated, what more could one want?
(maybe we need to make a "candelabra babe" thread, seeing how much enjoyment you guys are getting out of talking about her :P)
