[Project] "Knee-Deep in ZDoom"

I'm currently detailing the area from E3M5.

Still to-do is adding a bit more detail to the room and tunnel from E3M1, the two rooms from E2M3, the room from E4M1 (I've already a bit of work n this, and Risen has volunteered to turn the platforms into cool looking machines) and the rooms from E4M8.

I would have done more, but I've been working on a non-Doom related project as well.

Aheh, WHY are you doing this? This project is solely based on E1, not E2-E4!

E1M10 (the super secret level) is a mishmash of areas from E2, E3, and E4 decorated in E1 style.

Just a suggestion... any plans for a TITLEMAP now that ZDoom can use those?

My suggestion is that we use whatever bio comes up with for the CREDITS map, except with a different camera sequence.

I'm uploading my changes to the resource and M2. Please check out the two camera texture areas. These use a simple border texture and a technique for a reflective screen. I think it works nicely. I also made a few enhancements, but nothing especially big. I wouldn't call it done, but it's close. I'm done with it for now; so I only have the intermap currently.

The owner information is imporperly set on the file server, denying permissions to delete or overwrite files already created there. Use the files marked with -new.

- i think you guys know what map im working on by now :p
- progress is slow, but i finished a huge project ( http://www.aki-izumi.com ) and am able to come back to work, but as risen can tell you; im having trouble letting that project go :)
- im thinking of ways to go about ending the map, the tank thing kind of sucks.
- ive got the TITLEMAP covered. i had a cool idea that i want to try to make

Sorry, but I'm a bit green in this stuff, besides I got other things to worry about so if anyone explained me how can I access Krillancello's FTP (I fail to do it using Netscape) what stuff I need, where to obtain it, etc. Thanks in advance.

As I told Risen in reply to his PM regarding the server's permissions, I discovered WinXP dislikes the way I setup my server (it seems to dislike everything I do... piece of sheiße). It should be fixed now, and the old files (ze1m2 and zd1res) have been replaced with the -new files.

Note: Sheiße is German for shit, and I don't really know German... I just know a few swears, and like to use them. :D

NMN: I have little experience with Netscape, but I use Firefox, which won't give me the directory listings of the server. Try using IE to get to the server if you can. You might also try an FTP or SSH client, as they should be capable of accessing it.

Actually, no, it doesn't move... but maybe this is possible with TITLEMAP?
