Ah, then it looks like your hardware might be too old, Opengl 3 requires fairly newish hardware. I forget if there's a version of gzdoom you can use, though I'm afraid you may be out of luck. :SRIPANDTEAR wrote:I don't think anything special other than just what this laptop came with because my old computer broke but I will need to check

Not sure I'd call a 7 year old standard 'fairly newish'...Cryomundus wrote:Opengl 3 requires fairly newish hardware

Re: [Release] The Trailblazer (1.2c)
Perhaps the quick sidestepping/dash-jump could be turned on and off as even with an increased ticrate delay, it's possible to dodge at the wrong moment since it has happened more than once with me lol
Maybe a slider option for the frequency Trailblazerguy goes through cigs, from casual to chain smoker? Until then, I'll have to look where Trailblazerguy goes through his smokes and reduce the frequency.
Okay, it's in Decorate/Items/Smoking.txt but I'm not sure what to edit to lower it. To the DECORATE gurus, what to change?
PS: I love the machete, FMG, Skullthrottle and Patriarch, tho the Nutcracker needs some getting used to as you can use that to launch yourself across part of open maps lol

I always turn dodge off. I already did when it was new (?) in the Unreal games.

May I also know why you want to disable cigs? It's such a little detail that's an inherent part of the character. If it gets in your way so badly, I want to know why.

Re: [Release] The Trailblazer (1.2c)
It never got in the way in my opinion. The first time I saw one, I thought it was a bullet casing. I think it's kinda cool, only it needs a sprite that has a higher resolution, like the casings.

Could there maybe be a weapon that shotgun guys only drop, like the chain gunners?

Re: [Release] The Trailblazer (1.2c)
That's okay. I hope I didn't sound look like an ass with this response, but I did add this not that long ago, and I am a bit supersensitive due to finals. Also, I am really curious - why do you want the cigs rate decreased? I have had some character development planned here, in case DN would pick on TB again. (Especially that it's related to him, go figure.)Glaice wrote:Whoops, I overlooked that.
There was an idea to add a lever-action, and it would fit that purpose perfectly, but DN didn't have enough patience to do a Terminator 2-styled reload flip. I can't blame him - that'd be a real bitch to do, but I still admire the idea.Carbine Dioxide wrote:Could there maybe be a weapon that shotgun guys only drop, like the chain gunners?
I'll see about this one.Disc Primitive wrote:+1Carbine Dioxide wrote:only it needs a sprite that has a higher resolution, like the casings.

Hopefully but not urgently, will you fix this as well?PillowBlaster wrote:
Blazingsphere
Applies the full effect of your special ability without losing your health, and it also stacks up with your movement speed. (Albeit I might reconsider that, as you get so fast it gets difficult to navigate.)

Re: [Release] The Trailblazer (1.2c)
Oh. Well, that got fixed already, it does not longer stack up. (Guess I should edit the OP... Imagine how fast you could be before that, huh.)Disc Primitive wrote:Hopefully but not urgently, will you fix this as well?PillowBlaster wrote:Blazingsphere

Re: [Release] The Trailblazer (1.2c)
Ah, so it has been fixed. Yet I feel alot faster than Sonic the freaking hedgehog when I get it.
What about the health effect that does the same thing?

Yep. Blazingsphere just forces on you the full effect of your passive ability, regardless of how much health you have. And hey, this guy is all about being blazing-fast, after all.
