*EDIT*
Found out that you can control them all with the \cC commands just as in ACS but how can you control the standard message at the end of each dialogue page? ("See you later", "Thanks bye", "Bye")
But keep in mind it can't recognize more than three. Similarly, when you have NPCs that can print out one of a set of randomly selected strings, it'll only recognize the first ten in that set.wildweasel wrote:The "Thanks, bye!" messages can be altered in the Language lump.
Not going to happen. The user must always be able to close dialogue menus, and there are plausible situations where said user might not have their bound menu key on hand (such as playing with a controller from a couch).Tormentor667 wrote:I also second being able to completely deactivate them
To avoid the classic "We're going to kill you!/Thanks, bye!" exchange? =Pamv2k9 wrote:It'd be cool if we could make different sets of bye messages, though. Like have a set shown when interacting with hostile NPCs, another for neutrals, and another for friendlies.
Regular doom menu? You can only exit that when you use the ESC key. Other than that, at least customising the text individually for each dialogue would be a fair solution for the reasons wildweasel pointed out.edward850 wrote:Not going to happen. That, and Strife did define it this way.
The "Regular doom menu" and the Strife dialogue menu are the same thing. And there's only one way to open the "regular menu", on that note.Tormentor667 wrote:Regular doom menu? You can only exit that when you use the ESC key.
