...Is there any particular reason you changed the thread from sports news to more stressful news-news?

The great American race Daytona 500 has a winner Joey Legono the number 22.

And the last Daytona 500 race for Jeff Gordon but led 84 laps.

Do we need this thread if you have no plans of actually discussing the news you're bringing up?

Social media's trending is making a better job at news than this, to be honest.

I have autism. I had this all my life and its never going away. Having autism is not an easy task for me and sometimes people make fun of it and a lot of people don't care about others with problems or has disability.

I'm telling you the truth i do have autism. That's way my grammar and spelling are off sometimes I can't help myself you got to understand that I'm not that perfect and neither is you.

I was diagnosed with something similar and I do have similar issues (especially with a lack of focus) and I understand, but I hate to use my disability as an excuse. Besides, there's plenty of spelling and grammar checking tools available on the web.

And yet, that doesn't explain why you keep bringing up news without any related discussions.

Do not worry, you are not alone, I know many friends in the Doom community who have been diagnosed with Autism.
Just remember that this is a Doom forum so I would suggest not going overboard with the off topic here, I would focus more on Doom based topics, and only occasionally off topic and maybe find another forum for your other interests, there you can find like-minded friends in a community who is interested in your other tastes such as sports/racing and they will like to hear what you have to say about these subjects and discuss them with you.

Oh and you can try to join the #IRC channel for Zandronum, there is many Doomers who chat about all kinds of topics, and I don't think they will care much about the grammar there

This came out of nowhere. I'd like you to know, just so we're clear, that under no circumstances am I trying to insult you...but honestly, speaking as someone who has been in the "autism spectrum" for a while, I really don't like seeing people try to use their autism as a crutch, or as an excuse to steer people away from a perceived problem. It's happened many times before, and it'll sadly continue to happen: someone does something unexpected, and then tries to "get out of it" by immediately revealing that they're autistic in some form or another.

Autism doesn't need to be a crutch or an excuse. As a matter of fact, I'm sure there are plenty of people on this very forum who are either autistic or in that spectrum somewhere, and I honestly can either not tell the difference or don't really look for it enough to care. Because you're all people, damn it, and that's what should make the difference.

In any case, autistic or no, you've got the wrong idea about how discussions work on this forum. Chiefly because you don't discuss. If your objective is to drop by every so often with a single throwaway post about an object of fleeting interest, stick it in the What Did You Last Do thread.

Just FYI, I have a policy of assuming someone on the internet is not afflicted with any conditions or disorders until they mention or in some way prove otherwise. 'Cause, you know, it's kind of asinine to play armchair psychiatrist and diagnose someone with a mental issue they don't have. There are people out there who use message boards just like you've been doing who DON'T have autism. Until you brought it up in your last post, neither I nor anyone else here had any idea you were autistic, and you shouldn't fault us for not assuming you were.
